Paper to address state of play of EU initiatives, take stock of members work on the topic (especially, 2015 conference of the Visegrad Platform) and serve as basis for Eurodiaconia action on this issue, as discussed with members working in this field (see below). Eurodiaconia monitors the policy developments around the EU initiative on personal insolvency legislation and informs members on what it is and how does it impact their work Eurodiaconia provides a response to the proposal and holds meetings with people in the EP and EC as necessary. A briefing for members on the proposal for insolvency legislation (early 2017) 1 response made PROJECT 4 ROMA INCLUSION Eurodiaconia member participation is improved in the EU Framework for National Roma Integration Strategies Eurodiaconia is seen as an important partner in Roma inclusion by the European Commission, and our assessments are reflected in Commission reports. Members have a better understanding of Roma participation and have implemented the principles in their work Members have a better understanding and expertise about Roma culture and history which has facilitated their work Members are better informed about EU funding opportunities in favour of Roma Eurodiaconia has stronger relationships and increased cooperation with Roma partners at EU level, NGOs and in the EU institutions Eurodiaconia Stakeholder participation is improved in the National Roma Integration Strategies, 35% of members report better participation in the NRIS.
