Unfinished Business A. 00 State Street water service Property owners, Earnie and Sharon Munsey requested consideration to be grandfathered-in, since they have lived there for forty-five years and were not made aware of the illegal water service connection. City Administrator, Eric Wiederhold reviewed several options again for the Commissioners. No vote will take place today. Property owners were told that a proper and legal resolution is desired. The city will consider waiving the tap-in fees. Commissioner Mosher, Water & Waste Representative told the property owners that he will request Genesee County to waive any costs associated with the repair. Commissioners cannot make a decision until there is an estimated cost to complete the repair.. New Business A. 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 0 1 0 1 0 1 0. Staff Reports City Administrator Wiederhold reported that there are new water quality sample testing requirements. The City will be required to conduct twenty (0) single family households water tests. Eric distributed a correspondence received from the Genesee County Drain Commissioner s Office, Division of Water and Waste letter to Commissioners requesting new lead and copper testing requirements. Wiederhold will send a letter to potential homeowners in the four quadrants of the city requesting their assistance along with instructions for the collection of water samples. City Attorney Stout reported there is not a lot happening in court. Stout prepared an order lifting the demolition for the code enforcement case, 00 E. Vienna Street. The new buyer will be required to be aware of all outstanding code enforcement issues and costs of $0.00. Chief of Police school is back in session. Please be safe and watch for school buses. Thanked Mr. Brown s assistance in Houston. Police programs will be starting up soon. Treasurer thanked Linda Kingston, City Clerk for helping with meter reads last week while DPS Superintendent, Arnold Brown was on vacation. Linda went house to house taking individual reads. City Engineer- Oparka reported that hopefully, he will have the 01 USDA Watermain project revised plans next week. DPS Superintendent- Brown reported on his horrific Houston vacation and how he assisted with the hurricane victims. Arnold is reviewing several employment applications. Clerk Kingston reported that an Election Commission meeting was held prior to today s meeting and they are all set with election workers. Additionally, Kingston will be attending Train the Trainer in Mundy Township next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday..
