2 Government Gazette 16 March 2015 5689 Proclamations by the THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF NAMIBIA No. 4 2015 AMENDMENT OF REGULATIONS MADE UNDER JUDGES REMUNERATION ACT, 1990 Under the powers vested in me by section 5 of the Judges Remuneration Act, 1990 (Act No. 18 of 1990), and after consultation with the Judicial Service Commission, I have made the regulations set out in the Schedule, with effect from 13 October 2014. Given under my Hand and the Seal of the Republic of Namibia at Windhoek, this 18th day of February, Two Thousand and Fifteen. HIFIKEPUNYE POHAMBA PRESIDENT BY ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT-IN-CABINET Definitions SCHEDULE 1. In these Regulations, the Regulations means the Regulations published under Government Notice No. 107 of 30 May 2003 as amended by Government Notice No. 33 of 15 April 2005 and as further amended by Proclamation No. 5 of 2014. Amendment of regulation 7 of Regulations 2. Regulation 7 of the Regulations is amended by the addition after subregulation (8) of the following subregulation: (9) For the purpose of performing their official functions - (a) (b) the Chief Justice and the Deputy Chief Justice must each be provided with official motor vehicles, a sedan and an off-road vehicle, and in that regard, the Chief Justice or the Deputy Chief Justice is deemed to be a judge referred to in regulation 7 of the Regulations. Despite paragraph (a), regulation 9 of the Regulations continues to apply to the Chief Justice and the Deputy Chief Justice. No. 5 2015 AMENDMENT OF SECOND SCHEDULE TO JUDGES REMUNERATION ACT, 1990 Under the powers vested in me by section 3 of the Judges Remuneration Act, 1990 (Act No, 18 of 1990), on the recommendation of the Judicial Service Commission, I substitute the following Schedule for the Second Schedule to that Act, with effect from 13 October 2014.

In these regulations the Regulations means the Regulations published under Government Notice No. R. 98 of 26 January 1962, as amended by Government Notices Nos. R. 2144 of 28 September 1984, R. 1790 of 16 August 1985, R. 1037 of 28 May 1986, R. 232 of 06 February 1987, R. 1452 of 07 July 1989, 103 of 15 June 1994, 143 of 01 August 1994, 56 of 15 March 1995, 108 of 15 June 1995, 30 of 04 February 2008, 127 of 31 May 2013 and 321 of 18 December 2013. Repeal of regulations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the Regulations 7. 2. Part I of the Regulations is amended by the repeal of regulations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and MINISTRY OF WORKS AND TRANSPORT No. 39 2015 PROCLAMATION OF DISTRICT ROADS (NUMBERS 4119, 4120 AND 4121): DISTRICT OF EENHANA It is hereby made known - (a) in terms of section 22(2) of the Roads Ordinance, 1972 (Ordinance 17 of 1972), that the Minister has, in the district of Eenhana under section 22(1)(b) of the said Ordinance declared the roads described in Schedules I, II and III and shown on sketch-map P2330 by the symbols A-B, B-C and A-D respectively, to be proclaimed roads. (b) in terms of section 23(3) of the said Ordinance that the Minister has under section 23(1) (c) of the said Ordinance declared the roads referred to in paragraph (a) to be district roads (numbers 4119, 4120 and 4121). The said sketch-map shall at all times lie open to inspection at the office of the Roads Authority, Windhoek, during normal office hours. Erf 3840 Windhoek is zoned residential with a density of 1:700 m 2 and is approximately 768 m 2 in extent. The erf has one main dwelling unit, an entertainment area and an outbuilding situated on it. The intention of the owner is to continue with the current business activities and further extent the existing buildings for additional activities, (restaurant and a hair salon) on the erf while also residing on the erf. The number of vehicles for which parking will be provided on-site will be in accordance of the Windhoek Town Planning Scheme.
