ANTONIO FALLICO Chairman of the Board of Directors, Banca Intesa; President, Conoscere Eurasia Association The Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona is designed to be not only the largest platform in Europe for dialogue between business representatives from the nations of Greater Eurasia, which it has become over the years since it was founded, but also a place where entrepreneurs from a variety of countries can forge professional contacts. It is my hope that meetings of this kind will be of great practical value, and that in time, an economic space with shared rules stretching from Lisbon to Vladivostok will come into being. ALEXANDER STUGLEV CEO, The Roscongress Foundation The interest shown in the Forum by official and business circles increases with each passing year. This can be seen primarily in terms of the growing number of delegates and the expanding geographical range of the countries taking part in the event. Over the years, since it began, the Forum has taken on great significance for representatives from governmental institutions and the business and expert communities in Russia, Italy, and other nations within Greater Eurasia, as a non-politicized platform for direct and open dialogue on issues of European and Eurasian integration and developing partnerships in areas that show promise for cooperation.

OUTCOMES OF THE X EURASIAN ECONOMIC FORUM IN VERONA 19 20 October 2017 >100 >80 media representatives speakers SPEAKERS AND SPECIAL GUESTS The key theme for discussion at the Verona Forum in 2017 was Greater Eurasia as a driving force in the current international geopolitical and economic context. Participants discussed a number of issues, including building new projects and models for government interaction and economic cooperation in the current environment, developing the innovative infrastructure in Greater Eurasia, and cooperating in energy, manufacturing, technology, transport, and the agricultural industry. Among the problems touched on were developments in the geopolitical environment in Eurasia, as well as prospects for cooperation between the regions of various countries. Discussions at the Forum identified innovation as the main driver of long-term growth and change throughout the global economy, and placed particular emphasis on the importance of establishing dialogue between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union on political and economic cooperation. >1,100 delegates from Russia, Italy, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, South Korea, and European nations Romano PRODI, President, Foundation for Worldwide Cooperation; Prime Minister of Italy 1996 1998, 2006 2008 Gerhard SCHRÖDER, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Rosneft; Federal Chancellor of Germany 1998 2005 Igor SECHIN, CEO, Rosneft (Russia) Emma MARCEGAGLIA, Chairman, Eni; President, BusinessEurope; Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Marcegaglia Holding (Italy) Jeremy WEIR, CEO, Trafigura (Singapore) Grigory RAPOTA, State Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Tatyana VALOVAYA, Minister in Charge of the Development of Integration and Macroeconomics, Eurasian Economic Commission Veronika NIKISHINA, Minister for Trade, Eurasian Economic Commission Michael CHRISTIDES, Secretary General, Permanent International Secretariat, Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Leonid MIKHELSON, Chairman of the Management Board, Novatek (Russia) Elena BURMISTROVA, Director General, Gazprom Export (Russia) Ivan GLASENBERG, CEO, Glencore International (Switzerland) Marco TRONCHETTI PROVERA, Executive Vice Chairman, CEO, Pirelli & C.
