2 SUPERVISOR of Elections Our mission is to preserve the liberty and the right to vote for all citizens by providing honest, fair, accurate, and accessible elections with transparency and integrity. Dear Citizens of Duval County: I hope that you will find the edition of the Duval County Supervisor of Elections Calendar not only informative but beautiful as well. Because we are a city of bridges, we are highlighting our bridges in this calendar edition. Seven (7) major bridges cross the Saint Johns River. In addition we have over 30 bridges that cross the Trout, Broward, Cedar, and Ortega rivers as well as creeks and streams and the Intracoastal Waterway. Just like bridges connect our communities, our website connects you to your Elections Office. I want to encourage you to visit our website at The site has recently been completely updated to offer our users easier navigation. On Election Night our election results are posted live. The site offers you the results of past elections, and for those of you that vote by mail, the website can be used to track your mail-ballot vote. You will find answers to most of your questions including names and contact information of the candidates running for office and the names and contact information of your City Council representative, state senator, U.S. senator, state representative, U.S. representative, school board member, etc. The site also provides easy-to-read maps and precinct locations. In addition the website has a calendar that will alert you to the location, dates, and times of voting. It is a gold mine of election data. Recently the Florida legislature passed a law allowing citizens to register to vote online. Ironically this option is actually more secure than registering in our office. You can now complete any voter registration service through the link Register to Vote Florida allowing you to submit an application online for new voter registration, make changes to your existing registration record, or prefill a voter registration application form. As always, I count it a high honor and privilege to serve the voters of Duval County. I wish you all a joyous and blessed holiday season and a healthy and prosperous new year! Sincerely, Mike Hogan Supervisor of Elections, Duval County
