Participation requires sign in and phone number for parent/ guardian in case of emergencies. Kids 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Unacceptable behavior (bullying, name calling, pushing etc.) will result in expulsion from the premises. Bring your own balls, games etc. Seniors are welcome to walk around the perimeter of the gym during this time. (Beware of kids playing basketball.) For this convenience just sign up at the village office and be prepared to leave a voided check blank for the bank s use Your payment will be deducted from your account on the 15th of the month. No more late fees or envelope & stamps or trying to make it to the village office to pay your bill. 3 VILLAGE OF BRADSHAW REGULAR MEETING MINUTES The Village of Bradshaw Board of Trustees met in regular session at the Bradshaw Community Center in the lower meeting room. Chairman Gordan called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. declaring the meeting to be open, legal and properly posted with all members having been notified in advance through receipt of packets with agendas one day before the meeting. He announced that a copy of the Open Meetings Law is posted on the west door of the meeting room. Trustees present: James Gordan, Brent Driewer, L. J. McCormick and Don Burgener. Absent: Andrew Scamehorn. MC=4-0. Driewer moved, Burgener seconded, to approve the meeting agenda. MC= 4-0 Burgener moved, Gordan seconded, to approve the minutes of the May 10, 2018 regular meeting. MC= 4-0 McCormick moved, Gordan seconded, to approve the minutes of the May 15, 2018 special meeting. MC=3, Driewer abstained. Recognition of guests: Barbara Cotter, temporary clerk, and Stephanie Metzger, new village clerk/ treasurer, were also present. There was no old business Betsy Goodman from SENDD and Lisa Hurley from YCDC reviewed the nuisance progress, Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinance and a Blight Study. Jaclyn Fee will be taking over the nuisance work. Betsy will be prepare an income survey to be completed soon. MC=4-0 McCormick moved, Driewer seconded, to appoint Stephanie Metzger as village clerk/treasurer beginning Wednesday, June 20, MC=4-0. Driewer moved, Burgener seconded, to approve the signatory resolution from Cornerstone adding Stephanie Metzger to the account. MC=4-0. McCormick moved, Gordan seconded, to approve the request Adam Kreifels for a firework stand. MC=4-0. McCormick moved, Driewer seconded, to change the name of the Mobile Home Park to RV Park. MC=4-0. It was announced that the Community Center had received a $ donation from the Simmons family in appreciation for their use each year of the Center for their family reunions. Jim Gordan presented a $ check from his family for the Center as memorial for his mother. Discussion was held on the use of the monies and the suggestion from the Simmons to replace the doors in the front to remove the bar between them for easier handicapped access. After review of the Treasurer s Report prepared by Mierau & Co. Burgener moved, McCormick seconded, that the report be accepted as presented. MC=4-0. McCormick moved, Driewer seconded, approval of warrants and payroll. MC=4-0. 4 A very big thank you to Calvary Christian Church of Omaha for landing in our village and lending a helping hand on June 26th, 2018! They helped weed the park, pick up sticks, spruced up the flowers around the village office and even help dig the horseshoe pits for Bradshaw Days. Thanks to them our village got cleaned up some and looks great!! After their long day of work they stayed at the United Methodist Church and got pizza from The Bulldog Roadhouse. The following morning they woke up and drew their next destination and headed out! We appreciate all their help in cleaning up the village!

5 BRADSHAW UNITED METHODIST VBS REGISTRATION VICTORY IN JESUS! JOIN THE TEAM! VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL IS SET FOR JULY 24,25 & 26; REGISTER TODAY! It s almost time for Vacation Bible School 2018-three evenings of fun packed, Bible-learning experiences for children preschool through 5th grade(this year). This year s theme is VICTORY IN JESUS! JOIN THE TEAM! VBS will take place JULY from 6:00-8:00 p.m. We will be providing a meal each evening.
