Thank you, Sir. Date / Time: Wednesday June 6, 202 / 4pm 5pm Location: Sidewalk at corner of Capitol Way S. and Sid Snyder Ave SW (near south diagonal) Synopsis: WBC sent a letter to OPD Chief Roberts indicating their intention to be at the State Capitol for a public demonstration/outdoor religious service regarding the judgment of God. WBC indicated plans on being at the Capitol on Wednesday and then Olympia High School and Thurston County Auditor Office on Thursday. Lt Riley and Sgt Weaver met with Tony Aitken (State Capitol Visitor Services Program Manager), Andy Staubitz (Senate Security) and David Mangino (House Security) to discuss the impacts and response to the campus. Tony Aitken called WBC and WBC stated they would be standing on the corner holding signs in demonstration. They are planning on having about 6 demonstrators in attendance. Lt Riley and Sgt Weaver met with OPD Lt Wilson. OPD will have several officers patrolling the area during the demonstration. Counter demonstrators are anticipated, but in unknown numbers. OPD has received word of community counter demonstrators ( advising their members to not engage with WBC and remain safe and obey all laws. Capitol Campus will have a total of 6 personnel on hand (Lt Riley, Sgt Weaver, 3 troopers). Tony Aitken will be present as the Capitol Manager/Liason). A contact and phone number for WBC has been established for the day of the event. WSP zone 5 as well as TCSO have been advised of the demonstration and will respond if needed. The event will be closely monitored in partnership with all stakeholders involved to ensure a safe environment is maintained. Travis
