1 East Clinton Local Board of Education Tuesday November 17, 2009 Regular Meeting 7:00 p.m. CALL TO ORDER: The East Clinton Local Board of Education was called to order at the East Clinton Board of Education, Lees Creek, Ohio, by Steve Olds, President at 7:00pm. ROLL CALL: Anderson, present; Brown, present; Carey, present; Garen, present; Olds, present. Deanna Ruble spoke about receiving the Honda-OSU Partnership Program Math Medal of Excellence. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The Record of Proceedings of the Regular Meeting, October 20, 2009, has been distributed by the treasurer and read. PERSONNEL: CERTIFIED Employment - Substitute: The superintendent recommends the East Clinton Local Board of Education adopt the following resolution: WHEREAS: Superintendent Robert Dalton has nominated the following individuals for employment for substitute teachers provided they hold proper certification: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE East Clinton Local Board of Education, Clinton County, Ohio, that the hereinafter named teachers are granted substitute contracts for the school year. 1

ONE CALL NOW: The superintendent recommends the East Clinton Local Board of Education approve the One Call Now Notification Service agreement for the school year at a cost of $2, (General Fund). VOLUNTEER COACH: The superintendent recommends the East Clinton Local Board of Education approve Andrew Ramsay for volunteer wrestling coach. OSBA SERVICE AGREEMENT: The superintendent recommends the East Clinton Board of Education approve the OSBA agreement for Quarterly Policy update and updating policy at a cost of $ Carey moved and Brown seconded to approve. CORRECTION OF MINUTES: The treasurer recommends the Record of Proceedings of the Regular Meeting, July 14, 2009 that was distributed and approved on July 30, 2009 # correction as item was omitted. CARPET PURCHASE: The superintendent recommends the East Clinton Local Board of Education approve the purchasing of carpet at the High School and New Vienna buildings from Interface Flooring Systems at a cost of $13, (034 maintenance/ PI Fund).
