Introduction REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS CARROLL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS NATURAL GAS MARKETER AND SUPPLIER (Solicitation No 19-A002) County in all instances refers to Carroll County Government A. Purpose: The Carroll County Board of Commissioners is soliciting proposals from interested and qualified firms to provide and deliver natural gas to the various departments and buildings under the direct control of the board. There are currently 27 active accounts in Carroll County with possible new locations coming onboard in the upcoming years. See the list of account numbers in paragraph IV. The period for this quote will be 1 January 2019 through 31 December 2019 with an option to quote on a two year term. Interested bidders should quote both a fixed price and a variable price option. Service shall be in accordance with all local, state and federal regulation, codes and regulations governing this type service. The County is exempt of all federal, state and local taxes, including excise tax. II. Submittal Requirements/Format A. To be considered, prospective companies/firms must submit a complete response as required by this RFP. B. The proposal shall be ed or faxed to be received in the Purchasing Office no later than 1:00 PM on Monday, December 17, Each response should be ed or faxed to the following: rbenedict@carrollcountyga.com Fax: Format: Attachments 1 through 4 of this RFP. This contract should be awarded on December 17, 2018.

2 D. Vendors interested in submitting bids shall notify the Purchasing Analyst, with pertinent contact information, as soon as possible, by or telephone. This will ensure all interested vendors are included in the distribution of correspondence and addendums concerning this RFP. III. County Point of Contact Technical, policy and procedural questions relating to this RFP must be submitted via to the Purchasing Analyst. The deadline for submission of questions shall be December 18, All questions submitted via prior to the deadline will be compiled and answered in writing. 3 V. Terms The Term of the Agreement will be for one year unless the two year option id selected. VI. No consideration will be granted for any alleged misunderstanding of the services to be furnished. VII. Proposal Acceptance Proposals will be reviewed and evaluated.
