4 Home Ministry Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said no power in the world can stop the government from resolving the Kashmir issue and he hit out at Pakistan for its unholy activities against India. He said, the government has given a free hand to the Army to act against terrorists and give a befitting reply to any firing from across the border in Kashmir. Addressing a gathering at Surat district in Gujarat as part of the BJP's 'Gujarat Gaurav Yatra', Mr Singh attacked Pakistan saying it sends terrorists into India and wants to break the country. He said, giving a free hand to the Army has resulted in a record number of militants being killed in the state this year.

5 MEA India and Sri Lanka today held the Ministerial level talks on Fishermen s issues in New Delhi. Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh met with Sri Lankan Minister for Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development Mahinda Amaraweera. The talks followed the 3rd Meeting of the Joint Working Group on Fisheries. According to a joint communique, both sides agreed that a permanent solution to the fishermen issues should be found at the earliest.

Secretary of Rajasthan Assembly, Prithviraj told AIR that from the upcoming session of the Assembly, the motion of attention, adjournment motion and other motions under different sections will be taken online. The next session of assembly is beginning from 23 of this month. Rajasthan Assembly is first assembly which has started getting and replying of the questions online. It has saved time of legislators and government employees.

8 I&B Union Minister of State for Sports, Youth affairs and Information and Broadcasting Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore has said it is essential to increase the tax collection for the development of the country and the government has implemented the GST for this purpose. He visited Nimeda village of Jaipur district today under Sansad Aapke Dwar Programme. He said that tax revenue has increased in the past two years. The Minister said one thousand promising players will be selected from the schools and colleges across the country through the Khelo India Competition be held in December and January in order to prepare talented players. These players will be given five lakh rupees each per year for eight years.

9 International Monetary Fund The IMF has suggested a three-pronged approach for structural reforms in India. Speaking to media at a conference in Washington, Deputy Director Asia Pacific Department of IMF, Kenneth Kang, said the favorable outlook for Asia was an important opportunity for India to push forward with difficult reforms. Mr. Kang said, India should continue with the fiscal consolidation through revenue measures, as well as further decrease in subsidies. Mr. Kang said that it is to maintain the strong momentum for structural reforms in addressing the infrastructure gaps, improving the efficiency of labor and product markets as well as furthering agricultural reforms. He said that Improvements in infrastructure can be one important way to facilitate the entry of women into the labor force.

10 Iran Nuclear Deal Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has congratulated US President Donald Trump for his decision not to re-certify the Iran nuclear deal. In a statement released today, Netanyahu praised what he called a 'courageous decision'. He said that Mr. Trump has created an opportunity to roll back Iran's aggression. He encouraged all other relevant nations to do the same.
