2 OBJECTIVES AND GOALS REGIONAL INTEGRATION MEMBER COUNTRIES 4 The objective of the Pacific Alliance (PA) is to advance towards free movement of goods, services, capitals and people, on the basis of the existing Free Trade Agreements between its member countries, and through cooperation intra and extra PA. OBSERVER COUNTRIES 32 2
3 THE PACIFIC ALLIANCE GOALS To create a - non traditional- deeply integrated area to gradually advance towards free movement of goods, services, capital and persons on a pragmatic and consensus -based approach. To encourage higher growth, development and competitiveness within the Parties in order to reach higher welfare, achieve social inclusion, and overcome socioeconomic inequality. To become a political platform for economic and commercial integration with the world, with special emphasis towards the Asia Pacific region. To build an ambitious, flexible and pragmatic agenda.

5 THE PACIFIC ALLIANCE ORGANIZATION LEGAL FRAMEWORK Frame Agreement, signed during the IV President Summit on June 6 th, 2012: It establishes the objectives and structure of the Pacific Alliance as well as the accession process and the participation of Observers Countries. Additional Protocol to the Frame Agreement, signed on February 10 th, 2014: It is the trade agreement of the Pacific Alliance, complements and updating the bilateral FTAs between the four founding countries.
