2 Function and Composition of the Comittee FDP 4 Linke 4 Greens 4 CDU/CSU 14 The Committee on EU Affairs is the main venue for parliamentary participation in German EU decision-making. It is primarily concerned with general affairs, institutional questions and enlargement issues. The committee is made up of 39 ordinary members, proportionally drawn from the 6 parliamentary factions (see graphic). AfD 5 SPD 8 Additionally, 15 members of the European Parliament possess participatory membership without the right to vote.
