Due September 2, Ø Choose ONE film and its corresponding chapter in A People s History. Ø Amistad: Ch. 2 Drawing the Color Line pages Ø The Patriot: Ch. 4 Tyranny is Tyranny pages Ø Dances with Wolves: Ch. 7 As Long As the Grass Grows or Water Runs pages Ø Glory: Ch. 9 Slavery Without Submission, Emancipation Without Freedom pages Ø View the film (you might need to view it a few times) and answer the questions and key terms related to the film; take notes Ø Read the chapter (before and after viewing the film if necessary) take notes
