1 The opening issue : This first issue of this non periodic news for social justice resources center debut for fruitful cooperation between the Arab Organization for Human Rights (AOHR) and the Regional Centre for the UNDP in Cairo in the context of the promotion of social justice in transition Arab countries, and within its objectives concerned with the promotion and sustainability of the involvement of civil society institutions and actors in social context in the course of the transition in the Arab region, especially in the area of advancing to meet the popular demand in social justice and equitable development. Social justice not inseparable from the values of human rights and the central purposes of it, and especially values of justice and equity. In the context of a comprehensive human rights, enable the people of their right to dignity, to ensure a decent living, social justice is pertaining to the rights of citizenship and meet the conditions of equality and ensure equal Opportunities and work to denounce aspects of discrimination that undermine the dignity of human beings, and open the door to marginalization and social exclusion. The economic and social rights represent the basis and open space for the development of equitable and sustainable development, and human development, that allows human being choose freely and the right to develop,in hand with the fight against corruption and waste which is one of the most serious obstacles facing the development both at the level of resources to maintain the people for their own benefit, or to The level of adoption of policies that work to maximize the returns of development for the benefit of everyone. 2 Social justice The concept of social justice The issue of social justice imposed itself on the agenda of the state and society with the outbreak of Arab social mobility, which ended the tradeoff between bread and freedom. 6 International reports General principles and guidelines for the approach based on human rights, followed in strategies to reduce poverty: Poverty is the biggest challenge in the field of human rights facing the world today, Under a staggering 40 per cent of the world s population living with the reality of extreme poverty or are at risk of falling into it, and in a situation is the fact that one out of every five people living in a state of poverty of intensity makes it threaten its survival, the presence of a world without want and fear, according to the vision of the Universal Declaration of human Rights, is still a distant hope. 9 Research and Studies Study on the links between economic and social rights and legal empowerment of the poor in the Arab world: This paper analyzed the impact of the recommendations made by the most prominent mechanisms of the United Nations mechanisms, for the advancement of economic and social rights in the Arab region, namely the International Committee of the Economic and Social Rights, and the Universal Periodic Review mechanism of the Human Rights Council, and from the perspective of legal empowerment of the poor, in order to identify the challenges facing the application of these rights and aspects that require additional support let the main actors in the field of legal empowerment in the Arab region. The strategy of the new Institute to identify three major trends for the next strategic plan : 1 - Support capabilities and continuity of Arab civil society organizations and new actors in the following areas: Institutional side: Leadership and governance organizations, financial management, membership development, build a base of community and the link between the needs of the community, and strategic planning. Objective side: Support capacity in issues of human rights and the democratic transition and the development of human Rights in the heart of this track( human rights and women's rights and gender equality, citizenship and freedom of opinion and expression and the development of social and political participation 11
