Student will develop an understanding of The transformation that took place in the United States during the time of the Civil War. How the values and principles of a democratic society are exhibited during times of conflict and war. The rights and responsibilities of United States citizens in relation to the concept of Common Good established by the US Constitution (Bill of Rights).
