1 RENTAL APPLICATION CHECKLIST Use this handy list to organize your application papers. Check the box of each item you re submitting. Mail your completed application to P.O. Box 16, Chico, CA or scan and to Application to Rent Complete the application form. We require an application for each proposed adult (age 18 or older) resident. Personal Guarantee/Cosigner Application We require the combined gross monthly income before deductions from all applicants age 18 or older to be three times the amount of the monthly rent. If it s possible you won t meet the income criteria, or have a poor rental history or poor credit scores, you should strongly consider getting a cosigner. Personal Guarantee/Cosigner Agreement Your guarantor/cosigner will fill out this agreement. In the event you fail to pay the rent, this person will be held responsible. Most of the time, the cosigner is a parent or guardian. Identification Submit a copy of your driver s license or California identification card along with your application. Your cosigner, if you have one, will also need to submit a copy of his/her driver s license or state ID card. Proof of Income Include your most recent pay stub when submitting your application. You can additionally submit your most recent bank statement showing account balances, if you d like; you should redact (black out) the account numbers but nothing else. Your cosigner, if you have one, will also need to submit material proving his/her income. Application Fee Agreement Submit this form along with your application fee as we will not process your application without this. If you prefer, you can also submit the fee via PayPal ask us for information on how to do this. However, you must also submit the hard-copy Application Fee Agreement.
