(3) The powers, duties and functions of the Minister in the Human Services Grants Regulation (AR 25/2016) are transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Children s Services, the Minister of Community and Social Services and the Minister of Status of Women. (4) The responsibility for that part of the public service associated with the parts of the appropriation transferred under subsection (5) is transferred to the Minister of Children s Services. (5) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended balance of the following parts of the Government appropriation for Human Services is transferred to the Minister of Children s Services: (a) program 6, Child Intervention; (b) element 7.1, Program Planning and Delivery, of program 7, Child Care; (c) element 8.2, Youth in Transition, of program 8, Early Intervention Services for Children and Youth; (d) the portions of program 1, Ministry Support Services, related to the parts of the appropriation transferred under clauses (a), (b) and (c). (6) Notwithstanding section 3.2(8), the responsibility for that part of the public service associated with the parts of the appropriation transferred under subsection (7) is transferred from the Minister of Community and Social Services to the Minister of Children s Services. 6
9 Section 3.2 RESPONSIBILITY REGULATION (7) Notwithstanding section 3.2(9), the responsibility for the administration of the unexpended balance of the following parts of the Government appropriation for Human Services is transferred from the Minister of Community and Social Services to the Minister of Children s Services: (a) element 7.2, Child Care Subsidy and Supports, and element 7.3, Child Care Accreditation, of program 7, Child Care; (b) element 8.1, Early Intervention and Early Childhood Development, of program 8, Early Intervention Services for Children and Youth; (c) the portions of program 1, Ministry Support Services, related to the parts of the appropriation transferred under clauses (a) and (b). AR 5/2017 s2;28/2017 Community and Social Services 3.2(1) The responsibility for the following enactments is transferred to the Minister of Community and Social Services: (a) Adult Adoption Act; (b) Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped Act, except sections 1(f), 10 and 12(2); (c) Blind Persons Rights Act; (d) Building Families and Communities Act; (e) Family and Community Support Services Act; (f) Persons with Developmental Disabilities Foundation Act; (g) Persons with Developmental Disabilities Services Act; (h) Premier s Council on Alberta s Promise Act; (i) Premier s Council on the Status of Persons with Disabilities Act; (j) Protection Against Family Violence Act; (k) Service Dogs Act; (l) Social Care Facilities Review Committee Act. (3) The responsibility for the Family Support for Children with Disabilities Act is transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Community and Social Services, the Minister of Children s Services and the Minister of Health. (4) The responsibility for the Income and Employment Supports Act is transferred as follows: (a) the responsibility for the Act, except Part 5 and sections 3, 42(2) and 47, is transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Community and Social Services, the Minister of Advanced Education and the Minister of Labour; (b) the responsibility for Part 5 of the Act is transferred to the responsibility of the Minister of Community and Social Services; (c) the responsibility for sections 3, 42(2) and 47 of the Act is transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Community and Social Services, the Minister of Advanced Education, the Minister of Health and the Minister of Labour. (5) The powers, duties and functions of the Minister in section 4(3) and 7 of the Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped General Regulation (AR 91/2007) are transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Community and Social Services and the Minister of Health. (6) Repealed AR 152/2017 s3. (7) The powers, duties and functions of the Minister in Part 3 and in section 93(1)(a) of the Income Support, Training and Health Benefits Regulation (AR 122/2011) are transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Community and Social Services, the Minister of Advanced Education, the Minister of Health and the Minister of Labour. (8) The responsibility for that part of the public service associated with the parts of the appropriation transferred under subsection (9) is transferred to the Minister of Community and Social Services. (9) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended balance of the Government appropriation for Human Services, except the parts transferred under section 3.1(5) and 8

12 Section 4.1 RESPONSIBILITY REGULATION (2) The responsibility for that part of the public service consisting of those persons employed in the Department of Culture is transferred to the Minister of Culture and Tourism. (3) The responsibility for that part of the public service associated with the parts of the appropriation transferred under subsection (5) is transferred to the Minister of Culture and Tourism. (4) The powers, duties and functions of the Minister in the Community Development Grants Regulation (AR 25/2013) are transferred to the responsibility of the Minister of Culture and Tourism. (5) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended balance of the following parts of the 2015 Government appropriation for Tourism, Parks and Recreation is transferred to the Minister of Culture and Tourism: (a) program 2, Tourism; (b) program 4, Recreation and Physical Activity; (c) program 5.1, Tourism Flood Response; (d) the portions of program 1, Ministry Support Services, related to the parts of the appropriation transferred under clauses (a), (b) and (c). (6) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended balance of the Government appropriation for Culture is transferred to the Minister of Culture and Tourism. (7) The responsibility for the Major Fairs program is transferred to the Minister of Culture and Tourism. (5) The responsibility for that part of the public service associated with the parts of the appropriation transferred under subsections (6) and (7) is transferred to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade. (6) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended balance of the following parts of the Government appropriation under the Appropriation (Interim Supply) Act, 2015 (No.2) for International and Intergovernmental Relations is transferred to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade: (a) program 1, Ministry Support Services; (b) the portion of program 2, Intergovernmental Relations, related to Trade Policy; (c) program 3, International Relations. (7) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended balance of the following parts of the Government appropriation under the Appropriation (Interim Supply) Act,
14 Section 5 RESPONSIBILITY REGULATION (No.2) for Innovation and Advanced Education is transferred to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade: (a) the portion of program 1, Ministry Support Services, related to Alberta Research and Innovation Authority and Research and Innovation Council support; (b) program 5, Technology and Industry Partnerships; (c) program 6, Economic Development and Innovation; (d) program 7, 2013 Alberta Flooding. (8) The responsibility for the Job Creation Incentive Program is transferred to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade. (9) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended balance of program 6, Job Creation Incentive Program, of the Government appropriation for Jobs, Skills, Training and Labour is transferred to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade. 15 Section 6 RESPONSIBILITY REGULATION (2.2) The Minister of Education is designated as the Minister responsible for the Public Education Collective Bargaining Act, except section 8(6). (2.2) The Minister of Environment and Parks is designated as the Minister responsible for the Energy Efficiency Alberta Act. (2.3) The Minister of Environment and Parks is designated as the Minister responsible for the Oil Sands Emissions Limit Act. (3) The responsibility for the following enactments is transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Environment and Parks and the Minister of Justice and Solicitor General: (a) section 34.4(2)(a) of the Fisheries (Alberta) Act; (b) section 86(2)(a) of the Wildlife Act. (4) The responsibility for sections 4 to 9 of Schedule 5 to the Government Organization Act is transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Environment and Parks and the Minister of Infrastructure. (5) The responsibility for section 5(1)(d) and (2)(b) of the Surveys Act is transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Environment and Parks and the Minister of Service Alberta. (6) The responsibility for Part 6 and sections 159 and 163 of the Water Act is transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Environment and Parks and the Minister of Transportation. (7) The responsibility for sections 14 and 15 of the Provincial Parks Act is transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Environment and Parks and the Minister of Transportation. (8) The responsibility for sections 30 and 37(d) to (j) of the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act is transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Environment and Parks and the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry. 16
19 Section 9 RESPONSIBILITY REGULATION (9) The powers, duties and functions of the Minister in the Environment and Sustainable Resource Development Grant Regulation (AR 182/2000) are transferred to the responsibility of the Minister of Environment and Parks. (10) The responsibility for that part of the public service associated with the parts of the appropriation transferred under subsection (11) is transferred to the Minister of Environment and Parks.
