Plan for Gender Responsive Development ( ) Series of Seminars were given to FFW Women s Leaders GST, Harmonizing Works and Family, Advance training Course for Organizing Migrant Women Workers, etc. Mindanao: Talomo Overseas Workers Economic Reintegration (TOWER) group Displaced Workers Luzon: Busilak Dom Migrant Workers Returnees FFW is distributing materials on ILO C 189 to raise awareness and in support for the lobbying campaign FFW is also crafting Code of Ethics for unionist / members as employers of dom. workers Organize this workers into an Association for self help and representation

7 Saligang Batas Article XIII Section 3 Karapatang Mag Organisa ILO Convention 87 Freedom of Association ILO Convention 98 Right to Organize and Collective Bargaining Kasambahay Bill Together with other unions, and through the FFW partnerships with some Civil Society Organizations, FFW is lobbying for the passage of the Kasambahay Bill or a Law to protect domestic workers and that is compliant with ILO Conventions 189

10 The C.189 Timeline in the Philippines -June 2011: PH delegation unanimously vote for adoption of a Domestic Workers ILO Convention 189 -May 18, 2012: Philippine President ratified ILO C.189 -August 6, 2012: Philippine Senate concurs w/ ratification -Sept. 5, 2012: The Philippines officially submitted its ratification of C.189 to the ILO in Geneva.
