1 PROGRAMME C2 TRAINING-ACTIVITY IN BILBAO DAY MORNING AFTERNOON EVENING SUNDAY Participants: All partners arrive at hotel: 7.30 pm: meet 28/05/2016 Istanbul University and greet Staatliches Seminar für Didaktik und Lehrbildung (Berufliche Schulen), Karlsruhe/Germany Hotel Conde Duque Paseo Campo Volantín 22 Bilbao At hotel reception, going to a local Education Group, Linz/Austria restaurant to Veneto Lavoro, Italy have a dinner Falun Borlánge Regionen AB, Sweden Pádagoische Hochschule Zug, MONDAY 29/05/2016 Switzerland 9.15 am: Welcome, Programme (YourNI Bilbao 9.30 am: The Bilbao team will give us a short introduction (30-40 min.) into the Basque Language: Purpose: Getting a feeling of what it is like to learn a totally different foreign language 10:15 am.: Methodologies and teaching materials Each partner presents 2 or 3 different activities to teach a foreign language in a 2.00 PM: Open space, presenting materials on language teaching in refugee classes 3.00 pm: Coffee break 3.15 pm: Donna Fernández, an expert on methodology at Deusto University will give us a conference on teaching a foreign language in a refugee class 4.30 pm Discussion and conclusions concerning this conference 7.30 PM Dinner at a local restaurant

2 refugee class (15 minutes for each team) (= Homework 01 for everybody) Discussion about the different methodologies to teach foreign languages in a refugee class: non-verbal methodologies, heterogeneous groups, students with special needs am: Lunch break Tuesday 30/05/ am: workshop (Team Germany) Drama and theatre methods in teaching a foreign language to refugees am: Coffee break Working in groups: Continuation of workshop and/or Discussing which aspects should be included in an intercultural guideline pm: Lunch break 2.00 PM: Presentation of a local employment agency, Discussing their intercultural guidelines 3.15 pm: Coffee break 3.30 pm: Conference about Basic cultural guidelines essential for a good reception of immigrant students given by an expert from U.D. Aitor Ibarrola 4.30 pm Discussion Free evening

(34) pm: Finishing the presentations : Coffee break 7.30 PM Dinner (possibly near the sea) 3.30 pm: Working in groups discussing the evaluation process 9.30 am: EVALUATION PROCESS Experts from San Sebastian School of Languages will present their evaluation system am Presenting tools for testing and evaluating language competencies of refugees (before the first lesson of a language course and after the last lesson of a language course (15 minutes each partner) (= Homework 02 for everybody) Thursday 1/06/ pm: presenting results of preceeding YouRNI meetings and presenting the current learning package: 7.30 pm: Dinner at a local restaurant
