2 Florida Detention Facilities April 2017 Inmate Profile Summary This report summarizes county information mandated to be collected by F.S (2) and submitted to Florida Department of Corrections. It provides a monthly profile of inmate populations inside Florida's detention facilities. For counties that can not submit data using standardized instruments it provides approximated data. Table 1, pages 1 & 2, features the Average Daily and incarceration rate in each county. Table 2, pages 3 & 4, lists the number and percent of felony and misdemeanor pretrial inmates at each detention facility. The Jail Summary (Table 3, page 5) lists detention center totals for the year to date. Average Daily As reported, there were an estimated 52,291 inmates in Florida's county detention facilities during the month of April In comparison, in April 2016, there were 52,089 inmates incarcerated by county facilities in Florida. This is a 0.4% increase from last year.
