Foreman experience is an asset. English Applicant must be fluent in English Duties - - Supervising a team of landscapers and groundskeepers - - Providing support and leadership to workers to achieve the project goals and targets - - Responsible for scheduling and ensuring company procedures are followed - - Ensures safety of workers - - Ensures best performance by workers - - Coordinates with managers - - Problem-solving - - Responsible for supplies and materials for projects - - Works together with the team to complete individual tasks of landscaping/grounds keeping projects. - - Supervises and takes part in debris/ice/snow removal projects - - Other duties as required Stating wage $24.50/hour before tax deductions. Hours This is a full-time job with minimum 40 hours per week Overtime Overtime when operational requirements so demand. Overtime at 1.5 times regular wage rate starts after 44 hours/week. Health Insurance All workers are eligible for Alberta Health Insurance, which is paid from workers taxes so that there are no additional deductions for the insurance. Benefits 10 days per year paid holidays and company benefits: disability, dental, Life Insurance Benefits, RRSP Benefits, Vision Care Benefits and extended medical insurance after 1 year probation. Length of Contract Initial work permit for 1-2 years, with the possibility to obtain a permanent offer and apply for permanent residency in Canada. 3 Page 3 of 10 MTV Interview and Immigration Process Step 1 Initial Conversation with an MTV staff member Step 2 Selected CVs/Resumes are sent to the employer Step 3 The employer choses applicants for interviews Step 4 Date and time of the interview is set Step 5 Interview with the employer over Skype or phone Step 6 Employer issues a job offer to the successful candidates Step 7 Candidate has one week to accept or refuse the job Step 8 Preparation of the work permit application starts (2-3 weeks) Step 9 Depending on the country of origin, we submit the work permit application to a Canadian embassy if from country that requires visa for Canada, or we plan arrival and application for work permit at the border (first Canadian airport) for those who do not need visa to enter Canada. Step 10 Work Permit processing at an embassy is different based on the country and ranges from 1-2 months Step 11 When work permit is approved for those from visa required countries, arrival is scheduled Step 12 Relocation & Settlement (Airport/bus depot pick-up, accommodation arrangements, Social Insurance Number, Health Card, Bank Account, City Tour, Employer Introduction, etc ) Step 13 Worker starts his/her contract..
