1. Student VISA & ARC If You Arrive in Korea with D-2 Visa Students possessing D-2 visa issued under name of KU MUST apply for Alien Registration Card(ARC) * Please check if you have correct visa

Scholarship Program) Student who have student visa(d-2) from other university and entering KU as freshman again with the same degree from previous school(ex. Ph.D from other school Ph.D at KU) MUST make a departure and apply for new student visa(d-2) from Korean Consulate in home-country

Reporting Changes of ARC When Passport Information is Changed Online (PC) Report is available at hikorea.go.kr Report the change to the immigration office within 14 days of occurrence Change of Passport Info. Passport name, sex, nationality, birthday, passport number, and expiry date (newly extended) Change of Alien Registration Info. Address (residency) etc. Lost of ARC (visit & apply for re-issuance)

Change in Student Status(D-2) DEPARTURE Leave of Absence Withdrawal Exchange/Dual Degree Abroad Completion Graduation ARC will be expired regardless of the expiry date written at the back of it, and it is MANDATORY to make a departure within 15 days Departure Enrolled Student Leave of Absence Non-Registration, Leave, Withdrawal, and Expulsion Completion, and Graduation International Exchange/Visiting Program (Outbound) For students participating in outbound programs, GSC will provide the information regarding the change of visa individually * ARC is valid ONLY for the students who are registered at the university and studying in Korea If the student do not register for a semester, the student visa (D-2) will be automatically terminated
