23 From October 2016 to May 2018 the PDV Project has registered: cases of domestic violence in men, including 136 psychological violence inflicted by woman or wife 76 psychological violence inflicted by the mother in law 22 psychological violence inflicted by other family members (wife s relatives) 17 economical violence inflicted by woman or wife 3 physical violence inflicted by wife s relatives

Insufficient state budget for providing a comprehensive service to victims of DV and resistance of the central and local state bodies responsible for financial planning and implementation of LPDV Decreased number of government services and lack of shelters. The work of CC and shelters is currently depending on donor support Inconsistently in legislative framework. There is no criminal prosecution of domestic violence The lack of measures to improve the employment of victims of domestic violence Stereotyped approach towards the phenomenon of DV and its victims and the need of continuous trainings for the state workers
