1 Sociology 269 Winter 2018 Professor Gershon Shafir Office: 494 SSB Class: SSB 101 M 12:00-2:50pm Office Hours: M 10:15am-12:00pm Soc 269: THE CITIZENSHIP DEBATES We will examine the liberal outlook on the construction of the modern citizen and the good society and its alternatives in the communitarian, social-democratic, nationalist, feminist, multiculturalist, and post-nationalist perspectives.
