3 AIMS: 1. Educational aims: developing of individual historical and artistic talents of students; awekening interest in historical knowledge and literature; revision of the acquired knowledge; building of the historical awareness; stimulateing creative thinking; usage of the knowledge gained during the lessons; creating opportunities for pupils to deepen their knowledge and skills to work with widespread and scientific literature; 2. Tutorial aims: to strengthen the faith in pupils and gain the motivation to further work; to see the benefits of knowledge, to see the benefits of working with widespread scientific literature and different sources of information ; to develop the ability to make the right choice when you search for the information in various sources, to develop of the citizenship behavior and patriotism; to develop the attitude towards various cultures; 3. Exercise your minds. 4. Integration. 5. Healthy competition with the peers from other countries. 1. PARTICIPANTS Students aged from Poland and foreign countries COMPETITIONS REGULATIONS 1. The Competition is organized by SZKOLA PODSTAWOWA nr 48 in Gdansk (Primary School No. 48 in Gdansk) 2. Competition Partners: ASSOCIATION KULTURA POLSKA in France; Strona 3

4 3. The competition is aimed at pupils aged (of Primary and lower Secondary school from Poland and foreign countries). 4. HISTORY COMPETITIONS CATEGORIES 1. FIRST CATEGORY 1918 Regaining the Independence by Poland - through the eyes of foreigners. Only for participants from foreign countries. 2. SECOND CATEGORY Foreigners fight for Independence and borders of Poland from 1918 to For participants from Poland and foreign countries. 5. The task of the competition is to make individual multimedia presentation in English in Power Point Window Program on one of the given categories. 6. Multimedia presentation in Power Point Window Program must contain from 10 to 20 slides. 7. The participation of foreign students is allowed in both categories. 8. Detailed information about transfer of the presentation will be available only for applicants and schools. 9. Competition works will be evaluated by jury: Marta Pokropska Hutek, Urszula Kołdys, Katarzyna Potulska and Mirosław Kołymski. (the teachers of the history from Szkola Podstawowa No 48 in Gdansk/Pimary School in Gdansk). 10. DATES AND DEADLINES 1. Announcement of the competition Registration, specifying the category and the number of participants to Sending the presentation to Announcement of the results will be placed at school during the ceremony of the 100 th ANNIVERSARY OF THE INDEPENDENCE OF POLAND and on the school s website. 11. REWARDS 1. FIRST CATEGORY - Rewards are expected for the first three places. 2. SECOND CATEGORY - Rewards are expected for the first three places for participants from foreign countries and individual for participants from Poland. 12. FINAL PROVISIONS 1. Participation in the competition is voluntary. 2. Failure to comply with the conditions of participation in the competition is tantamount to disqualification work. Strona 4

5 3. The organizers reserve the right to make changes in the final distribution of prizes. 4. The decisions taken by the Jury are final. The winners could not appeal the verdict. 5. Participation in the finals of the competition is tantamount to consent to the processing of personal data by the Organizers within the meaning of the Act of 29 August 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data (Dz. U. No. 133, item and Dz. U. of No. 101, item. 926, as amended. d.). 6. The applicant consents to the registration photographic and video by the organizers of the award ceremony and their publication and broadcasting in any media. 7.
