Calendar of Events Friends Fundraisers Monday, July 24 Preschool Storytime - 10:30 to 11:15 am. 3 to 5 years old with Miss Terri. Coding Club Grades :30 am - 12 pm in Community Room.Class size is limited to 6 and currently is full. Waiting list only. Computer Help Desk - 1 to 2.30 pm. Drop in and get help with computer software or the internet. We can help with downloading ebooks, , and Zinio magazines; to name a few. Stop by and see if we can answer your question. Sit N Knit - 4 to 5:30 pm. Beginners and experienced knitters welcome. Adult Summer Book Club - 6:30 to 8 pm. Join us in a discussion of Bossypants by Tine Fey. There will also be a fun and simple adult craft to do during the discussions. All are Welcome. Copies of the book are available at the Circulation desk. Mah Jongg and Canasta at 12:30 pm in the Community Room. Mah Jongg on Mondays. Canasta on Tuesdays and Canasta Lessons and play on Wednesdays. Get Involved. Open to students entering 1st to 5th grade.this class is full, but registration is open for the others. Wednesday - July 26 Library Yoga - 10:30 to 11:45 am. Beginner yoga with Theresa Landolfi. $7 drop in. SUMMER READING Puppets Pizzazz - 7 to 8 pm. in the Community Room (2nd
2 - 7 to 8 pm. in the Community Room (2nd Floor). Join us for a mesmerizing puppet show. Open to all! Thursday, July 27 Induction to Coding Using Java - 10:30-11:30 am. Ever want to learn computer programming? Join us as we go through the basics of coding using the Java computer language. No experience necessary. Laptops will be provided, or, if you wish, you can bring your own. For ages 14 and up. Please RSVP. Space is limited, with 5 spaces open. Library LEGO Club - 3 to 4 pm. Open to students entering grades K-2. Learn more and register today! Teen Summer Reading Yoga Night - 6:30 to 7:30 Yoga Class Registration is required. Contact - Vanessa or hvlys@mclinc.org. Relax and get some exercise! Teacher Theresa Landolfi leads this 1-hour beginner Hatha Yoga class. Wear comfortable clothes and bring your own exercise mat. The story of King Seretse Khama of Botswana and how his loving but controversial marriage to a British white woman, Ruth Williams, put his kingdon into political and diplomatic turmoil. Rating: MR (for some language including racial epithets and a scene of sensuality) Runtime 111 minutes. Free and all welcome.. Friday Family Movie - The Angry Birds - 2:30 pm. Find out why the birds are so angry. When an island populated by happy, flightless birds is visited by mysterious green piggies, it's up to three unlikely outcasts - Red, Chuck and Bomb - to figure out what the pigs are up to. 95 minutes.
