2 Risk Analysis and Intelligence Network of the MBPD The Risk Analysis Sistem Strategic level; Operational level; Tactical level. The main tasks of the Risk Analysis Unit: Evidence of the border incidents: Border violations; Cases of illegal migration; Using of the forged/counterfeit documents; Smuggling cases; Violation of the border rules; Violations of the rules of stay. - Alerts; - Notes; - Risk profiles; - Intelligence reports; - Risk analysis reports. Ensure of the intelligence and risk analysis: Elaboration and updating of the risk profiles; Application of the risk criteria; Developing of the analytical products (reports); Ensure the exchange of information; Participation in common risk analysis groups; Developing of the operational newsletters (alerts). Exchange of data and information: Ensure a constant exchange of information with FRONTEX Agency; Development of SBSAR under the EUBAM auspices. Based on risk analysis is determined the vulnerability sectors and developing the border situation picture

7 CBSAR Framework CBSAR project initiated and supported by EUBAM (EU Border Assistance Mission in Moldova and Ukraine); Based on a Protocol signed in November 2006 in Brussels between EUBAM and the four partner services (MDBP, MDCS, UASBGS, UAMoRD); The Protocol provides for the basic chapters of CBSAR and describes the development; CBSAR implementation started in January 2007.
