6 from internal and external sources or from financial situations of crisis. The Indian Emergency lasted for 21 months from 25 June March 1977 it is one of the most controversial times in the history of independent India. Key words India State of Emergency Constitution Postcolonial 7 State Building of Pakistan Ideology Movement and Problems WANG Chang -ming 33 Abstract The proposal of establishing Pakistan as a nation state in Subcontinent is the product of Muslim nationalism the political movement arose from intensive sectarian conflicts influenced by the policy of divide and rule under the British administration in colonial India. Two Nation Theory the founding principle of Pakistan consists of three ideological bases and theoretical sects al - Sayyid Ahmad Khan's Muslim Nation Theory Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal's Muslim State Theory and Muhammad Ali Jinnah's Two Nation Theory. With the partition of India and the founding of Pakistan Two Nation Theory realized a practical transition from a mere political ideal of early Muslim theorists to the establishment of a Muslim nation state. This theory as the inverse of One Nation Theory the ideology of India's state -building has positive influence on the construction of Subcontinental Muslim identity and thereby in the state -building of Pakistan and in the mean time it has negative one on a general sense in world politics due to its functional defects. Key words Pakistan the ideology of state building Two Nation Theory Pakistan Movement partition of India 8 On Iqbal's National Thought and Pakistan's Independence HE Hong -mei and TU Hua -zhong 40 Abstract Sir Mohammad Iqbal is a famous poet and Philosopher of Pakistan and his national ideology had enlightened and united the Indian Muslims which played a very important role in the creation of Pakistan.
