Children and Grandchildren of Krewe members are eligible to ride in the parade. A child must be five (5) years of age by the day of the parade and no more than eighteen (18) years of age. Adults may ride with the rules set by AMGA. Five (5) to ten (10) years olds must be accompanied by a parent/adult. Parade Captain and Board reserve the right to check proof of age for float riders. A slot fee will be charged for all riders. Fees will be determined by the Board for each child and adult. Fees will be assessed based on parade costs. All entrance fees set by AMGA will be paid by the Krewe (not personally). T-shirts or costumes will be determined by the Parade Captain and Board. In the event slots for the float riders are not full, the opportunity to ride on the float will be opened to Krewe members family and possibly friends. Alternate parade riders will also be required to pay the slot fee set by Krewe and wear appropriate attire. Parade riders must meet the minimum required throws, i.e. beads, cups, doubloons, candy, moon pies, and stuff animals. Throw requirements are to be set by AMGA. Failure to meet the requirements will result in a parade rider s forfeit of his/her parade slot and all monies on the day of the parade. In the event the Children's Parade is cancelled by AMGA, all money for float slots will be transferred to the following year. No refunds will be given. AMGA Parade (Krewe Adult) All entrance fees will be paid to AMGA by the Krewe. All float riders must pay the Krewe the designated slot fee set by the Krewe and Board. All float riders must wear masks and costumes selected by the Krewe. Each individual Float rider must provide the minimum amount of throws within the AMGA guidelines. Riders are required to purchase one (1) gross of Krewe cups.

15 In the event float rider slots are not filled the opportunity to ride will be open to Krewe members spouses/escorts followed by family. Royal Court spouses will be given first opportunity. Spouses/escorts must pay designated slot fees, wear chosen costumes and masks, purchase Krewe cups and provide throws in accordance with AMGA guidelines. Queen Fleur de Lis and her Royal Court are required to participate in the AMGA parade. Royal Court will wear cream colored attire (not costumes); they will also wear crown/tiaras. If financially feasible the Krewe will eliminate the Court s slot fees. The Royal Court must provide their own throws and purchase Krewe Court cups. All float riders are required to attend the float riders meeting prior to parade. Article IX Dissolution of Krewe and Assets Krewe Fleur de Lis being operated by Krewe members may be dissolved with a 2/3 vote of current Krewe members. A 2/3 Krewe vote will be needed in the decision of selling any major assets such as the Krewe float. The possibility of dissolution will be determined by the Board; based on Krewe membership, outstanding debt, or unseen circumstances. Any holdings and assets may be sold upon dissolution. Any outstanding liabilities will be resolved as first priority. In the event of dissolution any profits received will be distributed to a charity/organization receiving a majority vote.
