Aquatic Pollution and Environmental Quality Because of increasing global concern over the consequences of marine and aquatic pollution, a separate volume addressing this subject was added to the ASFA series. ASFA 3 is the only abstracts journal devoted exclusively to research and policy on the contamination of oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, and estuaries. Draws content from over 1000 trade and industry publications, regional, national and international newspapers, business dailies and newsletters. Business Full Text A full text database that indexes and abstracts articles from English-language periodicals published in the United States and elsewhere, including the leading business magazines and trade and research journals, plus the full text of selected periodicals. The abstracts range from 50 to 150 words and describe the content and scope of the source articles. Chicano Database The most comprehensive bibliographic resource for information about Mexican American topics and the only specialized database or Chicano reference. Deutsche Bibliothek Database (DBD) A union catalog of the records of National Library of Germany, the Deutsche Bibliothek. The database includes the holdings of the Deutsche Bucherei Leipzig (founded in 1913), the Deutsche Bibliothek Frankfurt am Main (founded 1947), and the Deutsches Musikarchiv Berlin (since 1970). Dissertations & Theses The ProQuest Dissertations & Theses database (PQDT) is the world's most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses. It is the database of record for graduate research, with over 2.3 million dissertations and theses included from around the world. Environmental Engineering Abstracts Environmental Engineering Abstracts covers the world literature pertaining to technological and engineering aspects of air and water quality, environmental safety, and energy production. More than 700 primary journals are thoroughly indexed and abstracted. Environmental RouteNet Environmental RouteNet (ERN) is an encyclopedic reference guide to all aspects of environmental information via the Internet. This database provides daily summaries of non-partisan briefings on environmental politics and business from more than 100 news sources. Environmental Sciences & Pollution Management to Date This multidisciplinary database, provides unparalleled and comprehensive coverage of the environmental sciences. Abstracts and citations are drawn from over 4000 scientific journals and thousands of other sources including conference proceedings, reports, monographs, books and government publications. Eureka on the Web The RLG Union Catalog (RLIN) is a comprehensive database which serves as a major union catalog for everything from books and serials to archives, manuscripts, maps, music scores, sound recordings, films, photographs, posters, computer files, and more. Everglades Online The Everglades Online database covers the scientific, natural, agricultural resources of the south Florida environment. Everglades Online is produced as a tool for researchers, educators, students, decision makers, information professionals, and anyone else interested in Everglades research, restoration or resource management.

Abstracts are included for some articles. Florida Documents Index This online database identifies publications housed in the Florida Documents Collection at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). The collection includes public documents distributed by the State Library of Florida since 1967 under the Florida Public Documents Depository Program. Florida Heritage Collection The Florida Heritage Collection is an ongoing cooperative SUS project to digitize and provide web access to materials broadly representing Florida's history, culture, arts, literature, sciences and social sciences. Significant materials have been selected from libraries, archives and special collections departments of the SUS institutions. Florida Historical Legal Documents (LAW) Florida Historical Legal Documents is a growing collection of primary source materials surveying changes in Florida law from the time it became a territory in 1822 through 1845 when Florida became a state. The collection includes the complete Florida Territorial Laws, a time capsule of Florida history documenting the establishment of the territorial court system based on British Common Law as of July 4, Florida Supreme Court Briefs and Opinions Briefs and opinions of the Supreme Court of the state of Florida. Florida Times Union (newspaper) Jacksonville, Florida - Index 1986 to 1997 The Florida Times-Union Index was created by the University of North Florida Library Reference Department. Indexing is limited to Northeast Florida regional news (including Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns Counties), Florida legislative news, and national and state news stories that stir strong local interest. Global Legal Information Network The Global Legal Information Network (GLIN) maintains and provides a database of laws, regulations, and other complementary legal sources. The documents included in the database are contributed by the governments of the member nations from the original official texts which are deposited, by agreement of the members, in a server initially at the Library of Congress of the United States of America. GPO Monthly Catalog Consists of records published by the GPO since July Includes references to congressional committee reports and hearings, debates, documents from executive departments, and more. Hand Press Book Database Includes records for European printing of the hand-press period (c ) from the Consortium of European Research Libraries, whose 48 members represent national and university libraries in 25 countries. Records come from a number of national cataloging projects as well as individual libraries' files.

Journals@Ovid Access to the full text of Your Journals@Ovid, journals to which FAMU has subscribed, plus all of the bibliographic citations, references, and abstracts in the Journals@Ovid database, an aggregate of hundreds of scientific, technical, and medical journals from over 50 publishers and societies. Journals@Ovid offers coverage from 1996 to the present for many journals, and the coverage of some journals dates back as far as 1993.

National Library of Australia Catalogue The world's leading resource on materials relating to Australia and Australians, and holds an outstanding collection of Asian materials, begun in the early 1950s. Records for Australiana represent about 40 percent of the catalogue.
