BOARD: Holmes County Hospital Corporation DESCRIPTION: There is created a public non-profit corporation which is designated as Holmes County Hospital Corporation, for the purpose of establishing, acquiring or constructing, erecting, equipping, maintaining and operating a public hospital primarily for the benefit of the citizens and residents of Holmes County. QUALIFICATIONS: Governor appoints one member from each county commission district. Members must be residents of their district. BOARD: DESCRIPTION: Jackson County Hospital Corporation The Board shall provide for the operation and maintenance of the 3

The Board shall consist of nine members who are citizens and residents of Jackson County Hospital District, appointed by the Governor for a term of four years. Ward Jackson BOARD: Campbellton-Graceville Hospital Corporation DESCRIPTION: Members shall maintain a county hospital and may appoint a suitable hospital superintendent and other employees. Amwake Union BOARD: Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged DESCRIPTION: The council will foster the coordination of transportation services to the transportation disadvantaged by establishing statewide objectives for providing such services. QUALIFICATIONS: The commission shall consist of 7 members, appointed by the Governor. Each member must be a resident of the state and a registered voter. At least one member must be at least 65 years of age. Eight other members shall serve as nonvoting advisors to the commission. Governor shall appoint Chairperson. BOARD: South Florida Regional Transportation Authority 4 years Confirmation Required: None DESCRIPTION: The authority shall establish & determine policies as may be necessary for the best interest of the operation & promotion of the regional transportation authority (RTA) & adopt rules as may be necessary to govern the operation of RTA. QUALIFICATIONS: The authority consists of 9 members; Governor appoints 2 members. The County Commissions of Dade, & Palm Beach counties each shall elect a commissioners & appoint a citizen. 6 BOARD: Children's Services Council of Okeechobee County 4 years Confirmation Required: None DESCRIPTION: Duties are to provide and maintain such preventive, developmental, treatment and rehabilitative services for children as the council determines necessary. To allocate & provide funds for other agencies in the county which operates for the benefit of children. QUALIFICATIONS: The Governor appoints 5 of the 10 members. The Superintendent of Schools, a local School Board Member, the District Administrator from CFS, a County Commissioner & a Judge also serve. The Board of County Commission shall nominate 3 names to the Governor for each vacancy. POSITION: 4 Beginning Date: 4/27/2009 Ending Date: 8/26/2011 Ms. Lydia S. BOARD: Hardee County Indigent Health Care Special District 4 Years Confirmation Required: None DESCRIPTION: The district board shall provide for the health care of qualified indigent patients residing in Hardee County through the purchase or reimbursement of inpatient, outpatient and emergency medical services for said indigent patients. Collect information and statatistical data that will be helpful to the board and the county in deciding the health care needs in the county. QUALIFICATIONS: The board shall consist of 5 members, 2 appointed by the Governor and 3 by the Board of County Commission. Members must have been residents of the county for the last 12 months. No member shall serve for more than two consecutive terms. Vacancies filled by the County Commission for unexpired term. POSITION: 2 Beginning Date: 10/15/2009 Ending Date: 8/17/2011 Mr. Robert S. Fite, Jr. Hardee Two members appointed by the Governor. 6
7 BOARD: Rehabilitation Council for the Blind Three years Confirmation Required: None DESCRIPTION: The council is created to assist the division in the planning and development of statewide rehabilitation programs and services and to recommend improvements to such programs and services. The council shall, consistent with law, supervise and evaluate such staff and other personnel as may be necessary to carry out it functions. QUALIFICATIONS: The council shall be composed of at least 13 members appointed by Governor, who shall select members after soliciting recommendations from organizations representing individuals who have disabilities & organizations interested in those individuals. Members serve 2 consecutive full terms. POSITION: 10 Beginning Date: 10/20/2008 Ending Date: 8/31/2011 Mr. Dwight D. BOARD: Florida Film and Entertainment Advisory Council 4 Years Confirmation Required: None DESCRIPTION: The council shall serve as an advisory body to the Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development and to the Office of the Film Commissioner to provide the these offices with industry insight and expertise related to developing, marketing, promoting, and providing service to the state's entertainment industry. 7
