CALL TO ORDER Meeting was called to order by Commission Executive Director, Bruce Whidden at 10:01 a.m. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES By majority vote, with Commissioner Weiss abstaining, the Board approved the minutes of the regular meeting of Thursday, May 25, 2017 on a motion by Commissioner McClelland, seconded by Commissioner Esparza. 3. COMMISSION ACTION ON ROUTINE AND OTHER MATTERS The Board unanimously approved, as amended, routine and nonappearance matters under Unfinished Business, page 2, item 6 and New Business, pages 2 through 7 items 7 and 8 on a motion by Commissioner Esparza, seconded by Commissioner McClelland. 4. GENERAL MANAGER S REPORT The General Manager said she would hold her report until the next in-person meeting. 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON MATTERS WITHIN BOARD S JURISDICTION There was no request for public comment.

WILLIAMS, Traffic Officer II, Department of Transportation. Discharge effective February 27, Settlement agreement whereby the City agreed to rescind the penalty of discharge and substitute a thirty (30) working day suspension; The suspension to be served from February 27, 2017 to April 7, 2017, inclusive; For the period April 10, 2017 through April 17, 2017 the Appellant shall be deemed to be on a paid leave; The Appellant agreed to return to duty on April 17, 2017; The Appellant agreed to withdraw his appeal pending before the Civil Service Commission; The parties agreed to other terms and conditions; Signed documents executing the settlement and withdrawal were received in the Office of the Civil Service Commission on May 25, File No COMMISSION ACTION: MADE A MATTER OF RECORD BOARD OF CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSIONERS 7.
