(Application attached) Chairman Sabo reminded everyone that October 8th will be the 21st Annual Pumpkin Fest in Downtown City of Montague. NELSON AT THE APPROPRIATE SUPERINTENDENT/ CLINICAL DIRECTOR RATE (NX330) WHILE PERFORMING THIS FUNCTION The Administrator recommends, moved by Vice Chair Cross, seconded by Commissioner Mahoney, to appoint the current Program Coordinator, Lindsay Nelson, as the Interim Superintendent/Clinical Director and serve as the Chief Administrator of the Muskegon County Juvenile Transition Center effective October 1, 2016 until the new Superintendent/Clinical Director can be appointed; and reimburse Ms. Nelson at the appropriate Superintendent/Clinical Director rate (NX330) while performing this function. Chairman Sabo asked about the timeframe to permanently fill the position. 10 Muskegon County Board of Commissioners September 27, Full Board Meeting 4:00 p.m. NEW BUSINESS Commissioner Nash announced that there will be a 4-H Club Awards Ceremony on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Career Tech Center. (See attached) Commissioner Nash also reminded everyone to register to vote since the last day to register to be able to vote in the November 8, 2016 General Election is Tuesday, October 11, (See attached flyer or go to to see how to get registered or if you are registered and where you go to vote on Election Day.) PUBLIC COMMENT Judge Pittman thanked the Board for their quick action in support of the Juvenile Transition Center changes.
