Cards are available on the table by the door and shall be completed and presented to the Clerk in advance of speaking. *Matters under the jurisdiction of the Board, and not on the Agenda, may be addressed by the Public at the time provided in the Agenda under Public Comment. The Board limits testimony on those items to three minutes per person and no more than three individuals shall address the same subject. *As required by Govt. Code Section , any public record distributed to the Board of Supervisors less than 72 hours prior to this meeting in connection with any agenda item shall be made available for public inspection at the office of the Clerk of the Board, 220 S. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no impact to County General Fund. All costs are funded from the Environmental Health budget, # ACTION REQUESTED: Consider making appointments. 5 PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT 8 9 PUBLIC WORKS SUBJECT: Transfer operational control of the County owned property identified as Assessor Parcel Numbers and 48 in Westwood, from Public Works to the Sheriff in order to provide a professional environment for the Deputies and Citizens who reside and/or work in Westwood, and to store evidence and equipment such as snowmobiles, a quick response boat (Zodiac) and possibly off road vehicles in order to provide a much quicker response time for those in need. FISCAL IMPACT: Funds, in the amount of $50,000, are available within the Sheriff s budget for loan repayment. ACTION REQUESTED: 1) Receive report and 2) Adopt resolution. rev2 Westwood Sheriff transfer ROAD SUBJECT: Bid Award: Asphalt Concrete. FISCAL IMPACT: Funding in the amount of $204, is budgeted within the Road Budget, Fund ACTION REQUESTED: Award the bid to Hat Creek Construction & Materials, Inc. in the amount of $67.00 per ton (not to exceed 1,400 tons or $100, w/tax) for Asphalt Concrete 3/4 HMA and $69.00 per ton (not to exceed 1,400 tons or $103, w/tax) for Asphalt Concrete ½ HMA, the lowest bidder meeting the requirements considering transportation costs to haul the material from the plant to Standish-Buntingville Road PW Asphalt SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT RESOLUTION SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing the Sheriff to acquire specified controlled property through the Excess Federal Property Program (1033 program). FISCAL IMPACT: There is no direct fiscal impact based on the action requested. ACTION REQUESTED: Adopt resolution. FISCAL IMPACT: Potentially, if federal funding is sought and awarded to assist in procuring an update to the HMP, it will require a 25% funds match distributed evenly among the County, City of Susanville, and Susanville Indian Rancheria.
