Act as the MCEA Legislative Committee. Conduct county/consultant workshop activities similar to workshops currently being held with MnDOT staff. Consultant and county project managers get together and learn about each other s processes and limitations. The program has been very successful MnDOT and ACEC have been doing the program for a few years and the sessions are well attended. It also provides an opportunity to get to know one another outside of a project. b. Develop checklists and templates for typical projects to assist in the development and responses to requests for proposals c. Develop some contract language examples from both county and consultants to use as potential templates d. Develop a qualifications-based template for requests for proposals e. Develop a best value template for requests for proposals f.
