1 OFFICE OF THE KANSAS SECRETARY OF STATE 2017 CITY & SCHOOL ELECTION CALENDAR Statutory citations are found in Chapter 25 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated unless otherwise noted. Days are counted according to the rules of civil procedure in KSA Exclude the day of the event; count every day, including Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays; if the last day is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, then the date is moved to the next business day.
