CONVENE IN REGULAR SESSION The Board of County Commissioners of Teller County convened in regular session in the Teller County Centennial Building in Cripple Creek, CO, with Vice Chairman Mr. Dettenrieder presiding. Mr. Steen gave the invocation, and Michelle Bosh led the Pledge of Allegiance. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS: Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Teller County Board of County Commissioners for January 10, minutes of the regular meeting of the Teller County Board of County Commissioners for January 10, 2017 with noted changes. Both ACCOUNTS PAYABLE: ACTION: Mr. Steen moved and Mr. Dettenrieder seconded that the Board approve the accounts payable run of March 7, 2017 in the amount of $717, Both BOARD REPORTS-LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: Mr. Steen: ~Attended the National Association of Counties legislative conference in Washington D.C. ~Reported he attended the National Transportation Steering Committee meeting. ~Reported on the upcoming legislation. ~Reported on an upcoming 7k run in Woodland Park, hosted by the Denver Broncos. 2 ~Attended the National Association of Counties legislative conference in Washington D.C. representing CCI (Colorado Counties Incorporated) Public Lands Committee. ~Attended a Federal Land Management panel meeting also in Washington D.C. ~Reported he attended a Front Range Roundtable meeting. ~Reported he attended the El Paso County Regional Resiliency Collaborative meeting. ~Reported he attended a quarterly Community Breakfast with Newmont Mining. ~Congratulated Newmont Mining on receiving the P2 Environmental award. ELECTED OFFICIALS REPORT: No report ADMINISTRATOR S REPORT: Ms. Sheryl Decker: ~Reported Martha Hubbard retired as Public Health Director and Jackie Revello is the interim Director. ~Announced she received a letter of resignation from Lindsey Chapman, Human Resources Supervisor. 2. 9:30 AM.
