Carl D. Parker, the 42nd Imperial Potentate, I Gregory Robeson Smith (19), Imperial Deputy of the Desert of New York and Canada, do call all Imperial Officers, Illustrious Potentates, Chief and Assistant Rabbans, Illustrious Commandresses, 1 st and 2 nd Lieutenant Commandresses, Deputies of and for the Oasis, all elected and appointed Imperial Council and Court Officers, Desert officers, all Honorary Members, all Temples and Courts and all Nobles and Daughters wherever dispersed throughout the Deserts of New York and Canada: Will convene at the Marriott Hotel located at 670 White Plains Road in the city of Tarrytown, New York on April 27th thru April 30th, 2017 for our 3rd Annual East Coast Regional Desert Conference and Gala Day. The General Chairperson is PP Eric C. 2 REGISTRATION: Registration fees are the same for the Nobles and the Daughters. The advance registration fee is $125 (one hundred twenty-five dollars). The onsite registration fee is $150 (one hundred fifty dollars). The registration fee covers all activities, luncheon, a welcome kit and the Deputies Gala. The registration fee for any Associate or Non-Member is $100. The Associate and Non-Member fee covers all activities, luncheon and the Deputies Gala. For the first 250 paid registrants received by December 31, 2016, you will receive a commemorative keepsake to mark the occasion of this our 3 rd East Coast Regional Gala Day. All Temples and Courts are requested to pre-register their Nobles and Daughters using the 2017 Desert Registration Form and to mail a Temple or Court check, certified check or money order to: Desert Of New York and Canada (185) Peekskill New York Cell - (917) tommy.wheeler@verizon.net Checks are to be made payable to the Desert of New York and there will be a fee of $25 added to all returned checks. The cut-off date for advance registration is, April 5, The seven principle officers from each Temple or Court must register whether they attend or not. All Imperial Officers in the Temples or Courts must also register whether they attend or not. In the event a Noble or Daughter registers in advance and cannot attend, the Imperial Deputy of the Desert of New York and Canada, HPIP Dr. Gregory Robeson Smith (19) or Imperial Deputy for the Desert Teresa Newallo (11) must be NOTIFIED 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE of the Desert Conference and Gala Day. This policy is necessary to ensure that we order the correct number of meals. Exceptions will be made for EMERGENCIES ONLY. All Nobles, Daughters and Associates must use the 2017 Registration Form supplied by the Recorder of the Desert of New York. No telephone calls or s will be accepted for advance registration. Make as many copies of the registration form as needed for your Temple or Court. On Friday night, April the 28 th we will host a Meet And Greet Party for all our guests. The charge to attend is $25 for all non-registered guests, payable at the door. On Saturday afternoon there will be a Lip Sync Battle, additional information with the details will follow under a separate communication from the committee. We have also prepared a raffle drawing for you to participate in and you will receive the raffles in the coming weeks under a separate communication. Page 2

TOWN HALL MEETINGS: Times and room numbers will be listed in agenda. DESERT CONFERENCE DRESS CODE: Coat and tie preferred but not mandatory. Shrine walking suits, jumpsuits, jackets, sweatshirts and tee-shirts may be worn only as casual wear. The Fez and collar will not be worn with tee-shirts, shorts, cutoffs or other inappropriate dress. Nobles and Daughters should use good judgement and wear attire appropriate for the occasion. WORKSHOPS: The Imperial Council and Desert workshops will be listed on the Agenda. List the requested information as outlined below. Please print clearly or type.
