2 HB55 Labor, Minimum Wage Increase House Ways and Means General Business This bill proposes to incrementally increase the minimum wage in Idaho from $7.25 an hour to 8.25 an hour effective July 1, 2019; to $10.50 an hour effective July 1, 2020; to $12.00 an hour effective July 1, Wages for tipped employees will increase from $3.35 Personal bill. Don't anticipate per hour to $4.35 per hour commencing July 1, 2019, $5.85 per it moving. hour on July 1, 2020 and $7.35 per hour commencing July 1, Beginning September 30, 2022, and on September 30 each year thereafter, the director of the Department of Labor shall calculate and adjust the minimum wage rate. HB84 Idaho Business Corporations Act 3rd General reading calendar Business This legislation amends the Idaho Business Corporations Act (IBCA), Title 30, Chapter 29, Idaho, to (i) bring it into conformity with the Model Business Corporations Act (Model Act); and (ii) to harmonize the IBCA with the Uniform Business Organizations Code (UBOC), Title 30, Chapter 21, Idaho Code. 4 HB167 Vehicles, designated routes Transport This legislation amends Idaho Code Section to eliminate specific pilot project routes as established by the Legislature allowing vehicles up to 129,000 pounds gross weight to operate on certain state highways. The Legislature subsequently provided statutory authority to the Idaho Board to administratively establish new routes. Including the statutory routes in Idaho Code is no longer necessary. HB168 Vehicles, weights, routes Transport Etablishes new processes and fees for local authorities - every county, highwaydistrict, municipal and other local board or body having authority over highways and streets - and the Idaho Department to designate routes and issue permits allowing vehicles with gross weights between 105,501 GVW and 129,000 GVW to access highways and streets under their jurisdiction. $5000 fee and bill sunsets in 2 years. HB188 Seed Buyer Licensure Agriculture This legislation adds new licensing requirements for seed buyers. S1024 Crop Residue Burning Environment Passed in 2008, Idaho Code requires any one planning to burn crop residue to pay a fee in an amount of two dollars per acre to the department prior to burning. This bill adds an emergency assessment clause allowing the board to levy an emergency assessment if insufficient funds are determined. The Board must notify members 14 days prior to invoking the emergency assessment. This bill also places a $100 million cap on the surplus eliminator to be equally split between state savings and transportation. 8 SJM103 Free Trade Memorial House State Affairs Trade Joint Memorial between the Idaho and House urges Congress to ratify the agreement of the United States-Mexico- Canada Agreement (USMCA) as soon as possible. It also encourages President Trump's administration to renew its original waiver on steel and aluminum tariffs for Canada and Mexico. It calls on Mexico and Canada to remove retaliatory tariffs on all United States goods and services.
