5 Committee Reports Googlegroup Larry Blumberg Successfully moved listserv from Yahoogroup to Googlegroup Thanks to all who have supported this effort Currently 500+ subscribers to the STBC Googlegroup Courtesy reminder to not use reply all when sending to STBC listserv if message is specific to a small group only or is personal in nature. Send to them directly, not the entire club. Please keep all notes and replies civil, friendly, and free from sarcasm or other forms of hurtful language. Open to both Club members as well as interested bikers from outside of the Club For questions or help contact Larry (see contact info on website) under " Listserv/Googlegroup"

6 Safety David Wells Committee Reports All activities undertaken as LCI in April 21- Milford, NY Earth Day Celebration, Taught Youth Bicycling Skills 123, Sponsored by ORCA, 4 participants. May 11- Cooperstown, NY, Taught Youth Bicycling Skills 123, Sponsored by ORCA, 4 participants. Sep 27-29, Saratoga Springs, NY, Attended NYBC Summit Meeting and LCI Refresher Training Nov 10, Ithaca, NY, Taught Smart Cycling, Sponsored by Bike Walk Tompkins, 11 participants. For Intend to organize some instruction opportunities in the Binghamton-Norwich area.

Newsletter Roger Westgate The newsletter will be sent to the printer by early March and mailed to STBC members for arrival by April 1, It will include the ride schedule and featured articles: Bicycle stand donated to Johnson City library by STBC The 300 sq. ft. topographic map of the Southern Tier covering Erie, PA to the Catskills Ride Schedule Roger Westgate The 2019 schedule is underway and has been posted to the calendar for all to access. Response from previous leaders has been good, but more leaders are needed to fill out the schedule particularly later in the year. David Wells will lead Thursday evening rides from Awestruck Ciders near Sidney, at 6:00 PM starting on May 16, 2019 STBC Annual Meeting 7

Nothing to report as progress on 434 Greenway and 363 Gateway projects have stalled. Apparel Regina Losinger 9 Jerseys left and for sale at cost ($33 each) Will explore development of new design for STBC club apparel through Peak-1 1. Updated jersey design for Design and offer windbreaker 3. Design and offer wicking technical t-shirt 4. Explore hi-vis socks (safety item) and offer if possible 5. Repeat custom apparel sale annually; re-evaluation in 2022

16 Unfinished Business / Discussion In June 2018, 100 copies of the book Cranks from Cooperstown donated to STBC by Dennis Savoie His way of thanking STBC for decades of friendship and joy and also for extending our role to include bicycling advocacy. He has given full permission to STBC to dispense the books as our property however we see fit. Discussion on dispensing the Cranks from Cooperstown books. Perhaps selling on ebay
