1 MINUTES SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING JULY 17, 2007 The City Council of the City of Cedar Hill, Texas met in special session Tuesday, July 17, 2007, 6:00 p.m., City Hall, City of Cedar Hill, Texas. All members of the City Council were present, to wit: Mayor Rob Franke, Mayor Pro Tem Cory Spillman, Council Members Wade Emmert, Makia Epie, Daniel C. Haydin, Jr., Greg Patton and Clifford Shaw. I. Call the meeting to order. Mayor Franke called the meeting to order, declaring it an open meeting, that a quorum was present and that the meeting notice was duly posted. II. Interview applicants for the Boards, Committees and Commissions. The City Council interviewed the applicants for the City s Boards, Committees and Commissions. III. Consider action on appointments to the following Boards, Committees and Commissions: a) Board of Adjustment b) Building Appeals and Advisory Board c) Board of Directors of the Cedar Hill Community Development orporation d) Board of Directors of the Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation. e) Main Street Development and Preservation Board f) Parks and Recreation Board g) Planning and Zoning Commission h) Tri-City Animal Shelter Advisory Board i) Zula B. Wylie Library Board j) Neighborhood Advisory Board k) Any other Boards or Committees not listed above.

2 City Council Minutes 2 July 17, 2007 After due discussion and consideration, a motion was by Mayor Pro Tem Spillman and seconded by Council Member Haydin to appoint the following slate, as discussed. The motion carried unanimously.
