3 AR 42/2008 SOCIAL CARE FACILITIES LICENSING 2 Section 5 is amended by striking out March 31, 2008 and substituting March 31, Alberta Regulation 43/2008 Government Organization Act DESIGNATION AND TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITY For information only: Made by the Lieutenant Governor in Council (O.C. 96/2008) on March 18, 2008 pursuant to sections 16, 17 and 18 of the Government Organization Act. 1 The Designation and Transfer of Responsibility Regulation (AR 38/2008) is amended by this Regulation. 2 Section 5 is amended by adding the following after subsection (2): (2.1) The powers, duties and functions of the Minister in the Children s Services Grants Regulation (AR 73/2001) are transferred to the Minister of Children and Youth Services. 3 Section 8 is amended by adding the following after subsection (3): (3.1) The powers, duties and functions of the Minister in the Grants, Donations and Loans Regulation (AR 315/83) are transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Employment and Immigration and the Minister of Finance and Enterprise. 4 Section 14 is amended (a) by adding the following after subsection (1): (1.1) The powers, duties and functions of the Minister in the Infrastructure Grants Regulation (AR 56/2003) are transferred to the Minister of Infrastructure. (b) by repealing subsection (4) and substituting the following:

4 AR 43/2008 GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION (4) The powers, duties and functions of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation in section 5 of the Appropriation Act, 2007 are transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of Infrastructure and the Minister of Transportation. 5 Section 23 is amended (a) by adding the following after subsection (2): (2.1) The powers, duties and functions of the Minister in the Transportation Grants Regulation (AR 79/2003) are transferred to the Minister of Transportation. (b) by repealing subsection (4)(d) and (e) and substituting the following: (c.1) that part of element 5.0.4, Capital for Emergent Projects, of Program 5, Other Programs and Services, related to the transportation function of the Department of Infrastructure and Transportation; (c.2) that part of element 5.0.5, Program Services, of Program 5, Other Programs and Services, related to the transportation function of the Department of Infrastructure and Transportation; (d) that part of Program 6, Non-cash Items, associated with the parts of the appropriation transferred under clauses (a), (b), (c), (c.1) and (c.2); (e) that part of Program 1, Ministry Support Services, associated with the parts of the appropriation transferred under clauses (a), (b), (c), (c.1), (c.2) and (d). 6 Section 24(5) is repealed and the following is substituted: (5) The responsibility for that part of the public service associated with the part of the appropriation transferred under subsections (5.1) and (6) is transferred to the President of the Treasury Board. (5.1) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended balance of that part of element 3.1.3, Air and Vehicle Services, Program 3, Services to Government, related to the aircraft services function, of the Government appropriation for Service Alberta is transferred to the President of the Treasury Board
