Washington, D.C Re: Midcontinent Express Pipeline LLC Removal of Expiring Agreements Docket No. RP18- Dear Ms. Bose: Pursuant to Section 4 of the Natural Gas Act ( NGA ) and Part 154 of the regulations of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ( Commission or FERC ), Midcontinent Express Pipeline LLC ( MEP ) hereby submits for filing with the Commission as part of its FERC Gas Tariff ( Tariff ), the following tariff records proposed to be effective August 1, 2018: Statement of Nature, Reasons and Basis First Revised Volume No. 1 First Revised Sheet No. 30 Version First Revised Sheet No. 35 Version Eighth Revised Sheet No. 382 Version Twelfth Revised Sheet No. 383 Version This filing is being made to remove from MEP s Tariff reference to two Newfield Exploration Mid-Continent Inc. ( Newfield ) negotiated rate agreements that will expire on July 31, MEP asks the Commission to accept this tariff filing and permit the proposed tariff records to become effective August 1, Procedural Matters MEP respectfully requests any waivers of the Commission s regulations, to the extent necessary, to permit the proposed tariff records in First Revised Volume No. 1 to become effective August 1, The FTS Agreements for Newfield as listed on Original Sheet No. 30 and Original Sheet No. 35 were approved by Letter Order issued March 19, 2009 in Docket No. RP Due to these FTS Agreements becoming active prior to FERC s implementation of EFiling, the FTS Agreements are not included in MEP s Original Volume No. 2 FERC Gas Tariff.
