7 That Regional District of Central Kootenay Bylaw Amendment No. 2625, 2018 being a Bylaw to amend Regional District of Central Kootenay Slocan Lake North Portion of Electoral Area H Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 1967, 2009 is hereby read a FIRST time and referred to a Public Hearing. RECOMMENDATION: That it be recommended to the Board: That in accordance with Regional District of Central Kootenay Planning Procedures and Fees Bylaw No. 2457, 2015, Electoral Area 'D' Director Aimee Watson as Chair of the Rural Affairs Committtee is hereby delegated the authority to chair the Public Hearing on behalf of the Regional District Board. RECOMMENDATION: That it be recommended to the Board: That prior to holding a Public Hearing on the proposed Bylaw Amendments No. 2617, 2618, 2619, 2620, 2621, 2622, 2624 and 2625, 2018 that the RDCK provide opportunity for further discussion through an on-line survey and public and stakeholder forum regarding the proposed Bylaw Amendments for the purposes of implementation of the Cannabis Act. 5. ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES 5.1 COMMUNITY WORKS FUNDS - RIONDEL CURLING CLUB File #: CW-179 Areas A i) The Committee Report dated May 29, 2018 from Tanji Zumpano, Water Services Liaison, re: Community Works Fund Application - Riondel Curling Club Ice Plant Upgrades, has been received. RECOMMENDATION: That it be recommended to the Board: That the RDCK Community Works Fund application submitted for the Riondel Curling Club Ice Plant Upgrades project in the total amount of $96,702 be approved and that funds be disbursed from Community Works Funds allocated to Electoral Area A. 5.2 COMMUNITY WORKS FUNDS - WEST KOOTENAY BOATING ASSOCIATION File #: CW Areas E and F 7
8 i) The Committee Report dated May 22, 2018 from Tanji Zumpano, Water Services Liaison, re: Community Works Fund Application - West Kootenay Boating Association Marine Sewage Pump-Out, has been received. RECOMMENDATION: That it be recommended to the Board: That the Community Works Fund application submitted by the West Kootenay Boating Association for the Marine Sewage Pump-Out Project in the total amount of $15,000 be approved and that funds be disbursed from the following Community Works Funds: Electoral Area E in the amount of $5,000 Electoral Area Fin the amount of $10,000 SUBJECT TO submission of all permits and regulatory approvals. 5.3 COMMUNITY WORKS FUNDS - NELSON TENNIS CLUB File #: CW-182 Areas F i) The Committee Report dated June 5, 2018 from Tanji Zumpano, Water Services Liaison, re: Community Works Fund Application - Nelson Tennis Club Multisport Complex, has been received. RECOMMENDATION: That it be recommended to the Board: That the RDCK Community Works Fund application submitted by the Nelson Tennis Club for the Nelson Tennis Club Multisport Complex - Recreation Infrastructure Project in the total amount of $15,000 be approved and that funds be disbursed from Community Works Funds allocated to Electoral Area F. 5.4 COMMUNITY WORKS FUNDS - RDCK SHOREACRES File #: CW-181 Areas I i) The Committee Report dated May 28, 2018 from Tanji Zumpano, Water Services Liaison, re: Community Works Fund Application - RDCK Shoreacres Integrated Land Use Planning Assessment, has been received. RECOMMENDATION: That it be recommended to the Board: That the RDCK Community Works Fund application submitted for the 8
