5 Economic Issues Democrats Favor higher minimum wages and are for progressive taxation (taxes should be set on how much you make) Republicans Believe that tax rates should be low for everyone (even the rich) and wages should be controlled by the market. (Business controls the wages)
6 Military Democrats Spend less on military and limit our military action. Use our money on more peaceful things. Republicans Spend more on military so that our defense is always strong and ready for action.
7 Sexuality Rights Democrats Support same-sex marriage and equality for homosexuals and transgender populations. Not all Democrats feel this way Republicans Disagree with same-sex marriage. Marriage is a sanctuary between man and woman. Not all Republicans feel this way
8 Abortion Democrats Pro-Choice. Believe that it is up to the mother and should not be illegal. Support Roe v. Wade Not all Democrats feel the same. Republicans Pro-Life. Believe that abortion is considered murder and should be illegal. Not all Republicans feel the same.
