1 Advanced Placement World History Pacing Guide Course Description: Primarily focusing on the past one thousand years, AP World History is a course that helps students develop a greater understanding of global processes, interactions, and issues by using a system of periodization and fundamental themes. Substantial out of class reading, writing and research are required in preparation for the AP Exam that may allow students to earn up to 6 hours of college credit.
