Article 1: The company SAS GLOBES DE CRISTAL (hereafter referred to as the Organizer), the head office of which is located in Paris 8ème, on 30 rue de Miromesnil, is organizing an event called Les Globes de Cristal The aim of this event is to reward the most outstanding works and artists from the French cultural scene. Awards are given each year to promote French creativity in the film industry (film, actress and actor, foreign film), literature (novel or essay), shows (one man show and musical), theater (play, actress in a play, actor in a play), music (female performer and male performer), and television (television series or film, foreign television series). The Globes de Cristal Awards will be given during a ceremony, on Monday, January Article 2: The Globes de Cristal Awards for Arts and Culture will be awarded annually, after journalists who report on arts and culture (or, failing that, the editorial boards) have voted on a list of works or artists preselected by the members of the Globes de Cristal Awards jury. The Awards will be made public on January 30, The year during which the works were created is not taken into account. Only the year during which the work was revealed to the public is taken into account. The 2017 Globes de Cristal Awards honor the works which appeared in Article 3: The jury consists of around twenty journalists and is chaired by a leading figure from the press. The President of the Jury changes each year. A Globe d Honneur ( Globe of Honor ) is awarded each year based on a proposal from the President of the Jury. The President of the Jury and the members of said jury are chosen under the sole responsibility of the organizer of the Globes de

2 Cristal. The Jury proceeds to a vote wich determines the 5 nominees of the fourteen categories below. through a ballot paper that sent them. From this preselection, the jury will attend a luncheon to proceed to a vote that will definitively determine the 5 nominees in each category. The process is to vote by show of hands 5 times maximum per personn and per category. The nominees who get the greatest number of votes are qualified as office. Then an ex-aequo draft will be made to get the final top 5 list. The President of the Jury has two votes. In case of a tie, the President has the deciding vote. The jury s choice regarding the works submitted to the voters is final. The members of the Jury and the President choose five French works or artists in each of the following categories: Film: - 5 nominees for Best Film - 5 nominees for Best Actress - 5 nominees for Best Actor - 5 nominees for Best Foreign Film Theater: - 5 nominees for Best Play - 5 nominees for Best Actress in a Play - 5 nominees for Best Actor in a Play Shows: - 5 nominees for Best Musical - 5 nominees for Best One Man Show Literature: - 5 nominees for Best Novel or Essay Music: - 5 nominees for Best Female Performer -5 nominees for Best Male Performer Television: - 5 nominees for Best Television Series or Film - 5 nominees for Best Foreign Television Series

3 Article 4: Except for the Globe of Honor, the Globes de Cristal Awards for Arts and Culture are allocated after a single-round secret ballot by the members of the Jury and by a panel of around 15,000 specialized journalists who report on culture in general. Voting will begin on November 18, Voting will take place on a platform dedicated to the Globes de Cristal Awards. An will be sent by the Organizer to each voter on their professional address. Once the participant has received the , he or she must click on the link provided and vote for whichever category or categories he or she chooses. Voting can only be done once and cannot be modified subsequently. Voters have until January 4, 2017 at midnight (local time in France) to cast their votes. Each voter is responsible for his or her vote and may not ask someone else to vote for them. If a voter does not receive his or her invitation to vote by , he or she may contact the Organizer in order to obtain the login data or the link allowing him or her to vote. Maître Éric ALBOU will check online voting and proceed to the counting of the votes on January 30, In case of a tie, each winner will receive an award. Once this has been done, Maître Éric ALBOU or Maître Carolle YANA will deliver the names of the winners to the Organizer in the sealed envelope provided. For each of the fourteen categories, a wax sealed envelope bearing only the name of the category will be delivered. Only the producers of the Globes de Cristal and the judicial officer will know the names of the winners. On January 30, 2017, either Maître Éric ALBOU or Maître Carolle YANA will attend the awards ceremony and oversee the proceedings of the ceremony in accordance with the vote and with the official report drafted on the day on which the votes are counted. The vote determines the winners among the list of five works or artists chosen by the Globes de Cristal jury in each of the respective categories, as defined in article 3. Article 5: The works or artists in each category who obtain the most votes will receive the Globes de Cristal trophy. In case of a tie, each winner will receive a trophy during the ceremony on January 30, The trophies which will be given to the winners have been created by the Organizer and have a symbolic value.

4 Under no circumstances may they be traded for money. As part of this operation, the winners authorize the Organizer graciously and in advance to use their names and photographs (image) in any promotional event for commercial and advertising purposes, during an indefinite period of time after the awards ceremony. Article 6: The voters are the editorial boards, journalists, editors, and cultural sections editors in all French media: print media, broadcast media, Internet and radio. They are listed in a database provided by l Argus de la Presse. The voter s contact details will be processed in compliance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act of January 6, Each voter has the right to access, rectify or remove information regarding themselves by simple request at the Organizer s address. Any journalist wishing to vote and to register in the voters database may do so by simple request on the Globes de Cristal s website: He or she must be able to justify his or her professional activity in a French press institution. The basic list of voters is compiled through the information provided by l Argus de la Presse: News agencies Broadcast media National print media Regional print media Radio news Article 7: Any participation as voter, jury member, or in any other way implies full and complete acceptance of the above rules and regulations. Any difficulty in applying or interpreting them will be solved by the sovereign decision of the Organizer. Article 8: The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the present operation should circumstances so require. The Organizer cannot be held liable for it. Article 9: The Organizer cannot be held liable in any way for canceling, shortening, extending, postponing or modifying the terms of the present vote in case of a force majeure situation, events beyond its control, or justified need. In any case the Organizer reserves the right to extend the period of participation.

5 Specifically, the Organizer cannot be held liable if the website is unavailable during the voting period, or if any dysfunction arises in the process of designating the winners or if the information provided by the participants was to be lost due to factors exterior to the Organizer. The Organizer cannot be held liable for internet transmission problems which could damage participation (poor phone communication, network disruption, ). Participation in the vote implies the knowledge and acceptance of the Internet s characteristics and limits and the inherent uncertainties of phone communication, in particular regarding technical performance, response time required to read, examine or transfer information, risks of interruption, and more generally the risks inherent to any connection and transmission on the Internet, the absence of data protection against possible interception, and the contamination risks by possible viruses circulating on the Internet. Consequently, the SAS GLOBES DE CRISTAL cannot under any circumstances be held liable for any technical event outside its area of responsibility, including, but not limited to: - transmission and/or reception of any data and/or information on the Internet; - any dysfunction on the Internet preventing the proper proceeding or functioning of the vote; - failure of any reception equipment or communication lines; - loss of any , and more generally loss of any data; - transmission problems; - functioning of any software; - consequences of any virus, computer bug, anomaly, technical failure or intrusion in the voter s computer; - any damage caused to a voter s computer; - technical, material, or software failure of any kind whatsoever that may have prevented or limited the voter s possibility to vote or that may have damaged a voter s computer. It is stated that SAS GLOBES DE CRISTAL cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage following the interruption, dysfunction of any kind, suspension or end of voting, for any reason whatsoever, or for any direct or indirect damage resulting in any way from a connection to the site. Each voter is responsible for taking the appropriate measures to protect his or her own data and/or software saved on his or her computer against any loss or damage. The connection to the Website and the participation of any person in the vote is subject to their liability alone. Furthermore, SAS GLOBES DE CRISTAL cannot be held liable for any loss or damage linked to the use of a computer, internet access, phone lines, cables,

6 ADSL, or any other means of connection to the Internet or any other loss or damage. SAS GLOBES DE CRISTAL cannot be held liable, in general, in case of a force majeure situation or other circumstances beyond its control. SAS GLOBES DE CRISTAL France reserves the right to sue anyone for fraud or attempted fraud. However, it cannot be held liable in any way towards the voters as a result of frauds which may have been committed. The following in particular will be deemed as fraud: if a voter registers then participates in the vote under one or several false or fictitious names or an assumed name taken from one or more third persons, as each voter must vote under his or her own and unique name. In case of breach or fraud from the voter, SAS GLOBES DE CRISTAL has the full right to exclude the latter from participating in any way, without any claim possible from the voter. Article 10: These rules and regulations may also be downloaded from the Globes de Cristal website: Participants who do not pay any connection fees for the website in relation to the time spent on the website (participants who have an Internet subscription and who are not charged on a per minute basis) are not entitled to a refund, as the connection to the website does not incur any particular costs.
