4 Activities of the 2012 Edition In December 2011 a selection for the seventh edition of the Ovidiu Şincai European School was organized. As a result, 34 people became participants in this edition. The first seminar of the Ovidiu Sincai European School 2012 edition, took place between 29 March and 1st April 2012 in Odorheiu Secuiesc, under the title Challenges of the Crisis for Europe. Lectures were presented by: Iulian Fota, Advisor for National Security of the President of Romania Geopolitical Consequences of the Economic Crisis in Europe, Cristian Pirvulescu, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, State University for Political Studies and Administration, Bucharest Extremism at the Gates of Europe?, Daniel Barbu, Professor, Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest Federal Europe Necessity or Utopia?, Anne Juganaru, Director of the Ovidiu Sincai European School The Crisis of European Media, Ilie Serbanescu, economic analyst, former Minister of Reform (December 1997 April 1998) Europe in the Economic Crisis. The second national seminar of the Ovidiu Sincai European School 2012 edition took place in the May 2012 period, at the Gradistea Hotel of Moeciu mountain resort, under the title Preparing the Elites for Communicating in the Public Space.
