Update on activities 3.1 Presentation by the Representative of the Director-General of UNESCO The Secretariat will present an overview of key actions undertaken within the framework of the sport programme since the 2016 CIGEPS Ordinary Session held in Monaco, February Update on the preparations of the Sixth International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials responsible for Physical Education and Sport (MINEPS VI). 4.1 Update by the Representative of the Director-General of UNESCO on the preparation of the Conference s key themes: (i) Developing a comprehensive vision of inclusive access for all; (ii) Maximizing the contributions of sport to sustainable development and peace; and, (iii) Protecting the integrity of sport. Three informal working groups developed specific policy areas to be addressed by MINEPS VI under each theme. Over 200 individuals and expert organizations took part in these working groups. 4.2 Discussion of the Draft outcome document / Kazan Action Plan of MINEPS VI. Based on the recommendations made by the three working groups, as well as the conclusions by the MINEPS VI Programme Committee, a draft outcome document / Kazan Action Plan have been elaborated. The Committee will be invited to comment on this action plan and the proposed modalities of its implementation. 4.3 Considerations concerning the programme of the Conference UNESCO and the authorities of the Russian Federation have prepared a programme consisting of an Expert Forum on 13 July 2017, and six plenary sessions of MINEPS on 14 and 15 July 2017, that will eventually conclude with the adoption of the Kazan Action Plan for Ministers. The Committee will be invited to analyze the programme and propose adjustments that, if feasible, could be accommodated by the organizers.

3 5. CIGEPS Workplan post-mineps VI 5.1 The Chair of CIGEPS will present proposals for the future role of CIGEPS and PCC in monitoring the implementation of the Kazan Action Plan. 5.2 Discussion 6. Governance of CIGEPS 6.1 Pursuant to Resolution/CIGEPS/2016/4, the Chair of CIGEPS will report on the proposals submitted to the Chairperson of the open-ended working group on governance, procedures and working methods of the governing bodies of UNESCO Discussion 7.
