Continue to assist Core Working Group with public outreach efforts. Mediator/Facilitator, Protect Our Waters Coalition, Mt. Shasta, CA (November 2007-September 2009). Under contract to California Trout, provided facilitation and mediation services for coalition of three non-profit organizations engaged in negotiations with large multinational corporation over a controversial proposed water bottling project. Planned and facilitated twicemonthly conference calls; quarterly coalition meetings; and six bi-monthly meetings with the corporation. Coached coalition participants in strategy and tactics. Successfully mediated intracoalition issues. Coalition successfully got the corporation to: rewrite and recirculate its deficient environmental documentation; exercise a contract withdrawal option with the public water supplier; and, ultimately, cancel the project outright and put its property up for sale. Facilitator, Judicial Council of California, Strategic Planning Retreat (June 2008 & June 2009). Co-designed and facilitated small group strategic planning sessions on leadership in a time of change for members of the Judicial Council and the Administrative Office of the Courts.
